Blade Sharpener Anyone? Please...
poodle3081 replied to Perfumed Lillium's topic in General Dog Discussion
I and a number of my friends use clipper World for both scissor and blade sharpening and find their service excellent -
Blackmores make a Manuka based dressing http://clipperworld.com.au/blackmores-paw-pure-animal-wellbeing/paw-manuka-wound-gel-100g-p3542.html

Go the Wahl site http://www.unityagencies.com.au/images/stories/PDF%20Documents/authorised_repair_agents.pdf I would recommend three places in Australia for sharpening, they are Clipper World, Feather Edge and M&L Scissor Service in Queensland. All of these are Wahl repair agents.

Best value blades are Geib Buttercut best quality blades are Heiniger or Aesculap. To keep them sharp make sure they are not over tensioned (this is usually done by the sharpener), keep them oiled, running cool and try to clip a clean coat.

South Eastern suburbs try Clipper World in Cranbourne they stock good solid tables at a reasonable price.

Try the Paws by Blackmores. They have done a lot of research on skin conditions and treatments. -
The Heiniger cordless has a free battery offer from Clipper World for the next couple of weeks.
-
Try Clipper World as their repair charges are reasonable.

Thank you :) I'll check out the links and have a look at the pupkus dryers :) --Lhok Go to Petnetwork. They have the Lazor RX Dryers. They are the same as the Pupkus but cheaper.

Has Anyone Bought A Dog Dryer Off Ebay?

It is probably worth purchasing a Lazor RX dryer for the $195 as these are sold by reputable dealers and hence covered by a warranty -

Use these dryers and when they fail throw them away as they are not worth getting them repaired at this price. Also disregard the wattage rating as almost all quote figures are not true as there is no regulation or policing on these dryers from China. The true power of a dryer is it's current rating. Dryers such as Oldfield made here in Australia have a current rating in amps on the nameplate. Thanks for the info. So what's a good current rating then? 10amps is the maximum allowable in Australia. Generally twin motor dryers take around 8 to 10amps -

Pupkus do not make tables as they are sourced from China and can be purchased from many other suppliers such as Petnetwork
