  1. I found the same problem regarding the size of the hole - too small to reward the dog often enough to keep it interested. Mine is hanging untouched from a tree branch - and my dog loved to play tug games with us and our other dogs.

  3. I would go back to basics in the environments in which he is distracted. Put him on lead and only move a step in front of him, so that every time he sniffs the ground you are in a position to give him a correction. The correction should not cause him to break the drop, but just to let him know that the behaviour of sniffing is not acceptable.
  4. Petmezz, If anything ever occurs at training that you are not happy with, you should talk to the most senior person working on the night. If you still feel the issue hasnt been resolved to your satisfaction, contact management - they always appreciate feedback and will definately act on the matter. Commenting on DOL rather than talking to those involved at the club won't help the clients in the future. Good work with the Border Collie!
