And, I, a non-Facebook member, can now read it! Great, I will be posting up our first little girl hopefully tomorrow, am hoping her owners come and collect her from the pound as she looks very well looked after, but her due date is tomorrow.

Thanks that would be awesome, I just need two or three carers and then I will be set, before they go into foster care all the vet work will be attended to and they will also be dog and cat tested.

VC, it's one of those Facebook pages where you have to be on Facebook to open it. So people who are not on Facebook can't see it. AWL Qld's Facebook page is one where people don't have to be on Facebook to see and read. Would you consider changing yours to be the same? Not sure how to change it to be honest, I wonder if making it an open group will help, will give it a go, please let me know if you can view it, will change it back now.

I am starting on a small scale, a rescue to help some of our smaller dogs that are being left in pounds up here at an ever growing rate, if anyone is interested in possibly foster caring in the Ipswich/Brisbane areas if you could get in touch, I am only going to have a couple of dogs at a time, it is going to be a small operation. Hi unfortunately I don't have any carers on board yet, bad time of the year, would the person rehoming them be willing to hand them to rescue? I am sure I can find another reputable rescuer up here that can take them.

The 5 now have rescue, but if anyone else wants to foster please let me know, no doubt more tiny dogs will come in, Whiskey will be having a dental etc then going to his new foster carer

Will defintely be a good little dog to start fostering, something I would advise getting is a medium sized crate if you have not got one already, I always crate train fosters, its very handy for if you do need to seperated them for a little while and for sleeping in :D

Not sure he is the playing type, Harvey is being very annoying and the little boy just wants pats.

Hi have sent you a message, I am starting up a very small rescue again myself,called "Tiny dog rescue" but need a couple of foster carers on board first :D The older boy I have in mind for you is not pictured here, but is coming to my place tonight.

He does but if he is anything like the 4 that were surrendered from the same owner a couple of weeks ago, they are all Chi's. All very tiny as well. The same size as my Junebug.

Hi Mita, they are being contacted as well, its a busy time for everyone unfortunately coming up to Christmas, that one is a long haired chi, all be it a poorly bred one by the looks, they all come from a breeder who passed away. Small dogs rescue took two female chihuhaua's from the same person a couple of weeks back.

Hi Guy's as you know I did run a large all breeds rescue for years until I burnt my self out , but wanted to start a very small scale rescue to help the what seems to be more and more lately chihuahua's finding themselves impounded, if anyone is interested in helping please let me know, another Chihuahua rescue has started also in Brisbane but they are very limited in what they can take at this stage.

I am volunteering shortly for the Ipswich branch, helping with the foster program
