Exactly. There's diversity across the community. Each to their own notions of what they personally like, or do not like. So long as it does not translate into unfairness or lack of consideration for children. Yes, this! Who gives a flying toss if someone doesn't like kids? So long as they aren't being nasty to or abusing kids in any way, what on earth is the problem? I think the issue for some people isn't those who don't like kids, it's those who don't like their kids. To be fair I dont think the intention by the aforementioned poster was to harass others, just think some parents are SO into being parents they cannot accept/ understand anyone who isn't. They kinda get tunnel vision about it. Personally I'd rather swallow razor blades than have a child lol. Thank god I'm almost beyond the age where it's a possibility. Being a parent is a lifestyle choice, and it has never been a lifestyle that's appealed to me .. Shudders. Perhaps that wasn't the intention but the OP, after I responded, continued to go on about it. It's no one's business why someone doesn't like children and to keep going on about it is simply tunnel vision. But why don't you like (my) children?

Fair 'nuf. No one has to like children. So long as you are not a Primary School teacher or Child care worker I'm okay with that. But, if I may ask, is it ALL children, is there a reason or is it just "how you feel"? How do you interact with children if required to? Do you acknowledge them or are you dismissive of them? I mean, I don't like every adult (or child) I meet either. Again, why on earth does it matter what someone thinks of children? Particularly on an Internet forum. The OP was just wondering, if people don't like the question then don't answer, sounds simple to me. Unfortunately over the years parenting has diminished and children get away with a lot.. We need to go back in time when discipline was the norm, now parents are scared or have not been taught how .. It seems easy to me and undesirable behaviour is not tolerated lol. Example, my daughter was quite disrespectful to my OH today she was going to a party on the weekend, she isn't now. Follow through, most parents would threaten knowing well they couldn't not let their little angel not go to her first party for the year. I say my angel will think twice next time she is disrespectful lol , OK parenting 101 over, I love kids its their parents I don,t like :-) ONE PERSON on ONE FLIGHT didn't want to sit next to HER kid. Well, not everyone likes kids, not everyone is going to like her kids. I repeat, so what? Children aren't the centre of the universe for everyone. No need to continue to interrogate anyone over it.

I don't like children, never have. I don't have to like children so I fail to see why it bothers anyone.

I got a lecture recently on how Science Diet is better than Eaglepack.

Grumpy is 16, Mini is 10. Grumpy is on Royal Canin Veterinary Sensitivity. Mini is on Holistic Select Fish. Neither are Senior food and I wouldn't dare tell them they're supposed to be seniors.

Hawkesbury Pound Area At Risk Of Flooding

Sounds possibly illegal to me but I'm unsure of the law in this regard. -
Doesn't this depend on the breed?

Interesting photos. Were they backed up by historical photos? And another question: are the show dogs actually show dogs? I recall when Jemima Harrison came on DOL and refused to answer questions about whether the epileptic boxer was actually a pedigree dog.

So few people want terriers these days. Too independent, too much hard work.

Help Dog Missing - Princess Freeway Just Before Geelong

Oh, I am very sorry to hear this very sad news. -
Most were Geelong residents I queried it because I wouldn't be surprised if people were bussed in from outside given the subject matter.

My question would be how many of those protesters were actually people from the Geelong community. Yes, indeed, see my original post. Have you been wronged by a Geelong resident or something? How do you get that from my querying how many protesters were from Geelong and writing about a historical fact about feral cats? Your other post stated that only the footy would get Geelong residents off their butts or something to that effect, and then you were questioning whether any Geelong residents were at the protest, just seemed like you weren't a fan. No harm, innocent question :) I'm from Geelong so #fail on your part there. Brilliant town but the residents aren't known for getting over excited.

Happy birthday, Tara! I hope you enjoy your chicken!

I take it you don't like the new regime, chuckandsteve?

They have to provide stats to the Vic Govt, how often I can't recall. That's likely to be FOI-able. They should also report stats in their annual report.

Dogs don't automatically go, 'I won't escape.' Generally this is done with good fencing and lots of training. :)

Okay, around Hamlyn Heights/Bell Post Hill on the ring road just before the Midland Hwy? You should also contact the Bannockburn Vet in case she heads that way. -

I'm a bit confused as to where it happened. Was it on the ring road? Colac side? Happy to post on Facebook to my Geelong mates but the direction needs to be specific for the easily confused. -

I'd be surprised if it was, westiemum. Unless it's footy it takes a lot to get Geelong folk off their backsides.

Third largest? Aside from LDH, of course, which is the other? Renbury?

Although, notably, SADS has been no kill for years so Geelong is not a first at all.
