Vietnam Veterans March - Guest Of Honor Private Sarbi

Great story and what a great day for everyone involved! -
Yesterday's results weren't up until overnight.

Which one?

There are plenty of permanent residents in Australia who are not and who will never be an Australian citizen. Leaving aside the issue of someone taking a dog overseas, are only citizens to be granted a dog by the RSPCA? What about people with dual citizenship? Might not the RSPCA get a trifle confused over that one? This doesn't sound like an actual RSPCA policy as such, more that someone reached above their pay grade.

Yes. Except groups and general specials are not yet online, hence my post.

Anyone know who got Group 2, general specials, etc?

Would love to go on Sunday but my car is just about to hit the timing belt changeover.

My terriers are family pets and feisty terriers. The two should not be incompatible and those who think so should not get a terrier.

Grumpy and Mini do this. I was walking Grumpy somewhere once and he got very annoyed at a statue. And Mini has become very curious about ... well, anything really. She's a bit of a goldfish at times. 'Where did THAT come from?!' and then later at the same thing, 'Where did THAT come from?!'

At least the man has a sense of humour, using an element of fact in the process. Some Aboriginals are still throwing spears at each other, as evidenced in recent NT court cases. As to the Royals paying taxes, by law they were exempt from paying tax, but voluntarily chose to do so. Ouch, I don't find racist comments funny. As to the last, they started 'voluntarily' paying taxes after an outcry by British taxpayers. In 2011, the Queen's personal wealth (outside of any property, etc, she holds in trust for the nation - as if the nation has access to it ...) was $500 million. Interesting article on the deliberate murkiness of royal finances.

It isn't slander. Yeah, good. I think you don't know what slander is. Look it up. I think you're petty and rather rude. Because I said it wasn't slander? It isn't slander.

I think her personal wealth is quite substantial so she could reture to Marbella if she wanted to.

Exactly! I'm still waiting to see who we get and depending on who it is whether to go or not, organise a new handler, etc or whether I just cancel everything including the leave I've booked in for work. I'm sitting here doing the same thing. The Canadian might be an option for 2 of my 4 entries but forget an Irish Judge. I was so excited and first time I had bothered with Adeliade Royal - not meant to be it seems. Why? What breeds do you have?
-
Wow, look at all the kerries and wheatens. Practically a crowd. Wish I could get there.

You could say the same of any breed in any home setting other than those expressly bred to be lapdogs. Plenty of DOLers have herding breeds, plenty of DOLers have vermin hunters. Why ping the royals for what so many DOLers do exactly the same? Or maybe you do. I said I don't get it. No criticism. Picture half a dozen herding dogs walking around through polished marble corridors. I went to the official Royal website (http://www.royal.gov...Familypets.aspx) to try and fill out the picture. Turns out I that the Queen has three Corgis and three 'Dorgis' . . . daschund x corgi crosses, all castle-bred. Oh my ! She's a BYB (with a very large and posh back yard). Now, I'd completely understand if she'd taken a few of those lovely Sandrigham Labradors as companions :) I still don't understand your objection.

I used to take my two to Heather's Dog Grooming in Red Hill. She's expensive but does a good job.

There is a reason for the adage 'Let sleeping dogs lie'.

I have not denigrated a "whole field of knowledge and structured study" etc. You are still being dramatic. Overly so. Here's what I like: there is a new development in the study of a particular disease, a new DNA test for one of my breeds. This happened because of the understanding and knowledge of the scientists involved and the cooperation of a world-wide set of breeders and owners. Loads of fundraising, loads of donations of DNA, cooperation on a wide scale. Here's what I don't like: Understanding and knowledge goes a long way towards getting cooperation and you don't get cooperation by going on national television and declaring that pedigree dogs are "falling apart" based on evidence from another country.

I meant this website. In future, please explain what it is you're posting whether it's a link or a PDF.

As everyone knows, I, too, have an old grump. What I have learned is that he has to do things in his own time and never to tell him off when he's having a grumpy moment. I don't startle him, I don't wake him up if he's having a sleep. When he has a grump, I tell him no one will talk to him if he's going to be silly and then I ignore him. He goes into something of a funk and comes out of it a little while later.

I will not open a document on a website without some sort of explanation as to what it is.
