I feed canned tuna, sardines and mackeral to Grumpy. Had to drop the mackeral because of his tummy problems. He couldn't have oil. He preferred sardines over tuna but in the end I had to mainly feed tuna due to the poor labelling of the Woolies sardines. I often got sardines in oil that were labelled springwater.

Yeah, honestly, a lot of rescues and their followers recently have been nothing but ridiculous, and Facebook is just a haven for crazies. I'm glad I have pets but am not involved with rescue or breeding. It all just makes the whole dog world look nuts. You think it's just Facebook? The DOL rescue forum has been like that forever. My first taste of it was when I asked something in a thread about a rescue and was hysterically accused of demanding their secret pound contacts. This went on and on and on for ages, including by at least one of the people in this thread, despite the fact that I had never done so and didn't even know people apparently had 'secret contacts'. Look at the recent pug thread.

There seem to be larger group splits overseas. Not sure if they're any more logical.

I'm still curious about the dogs that were pts. RSPCA says they were in bad condition. Moorook says otherwise.

Not sure which is worse: the outing or the accusation that this person is out to get rescues.

Wouldn't it be better to phone or email or even PM someone from CPR than air your issues with them on DOL? Or am I the only person getting tired of rescues airing complaints about other rescues? It's hardly a good advertisement for rescue in general.

And don't forget those who have lost their jobs. Cr Antonelli may suggest that job loss was not necessary given the contract is suspended but if AWL felt it necessary to remove the dogs and to sack people, I'd say they probably think the contract isn't suspended. It would be good to get an AWL point of view.

Please note that the contract is merely suspended. It is not cancelled or terminated. With respect, the question is moot. Would you be good enough to answer my questiion, please? I note in terms of Tracey's question, that AWL staff have lost their jobs. It's not moot to them.

Why does information have to be documented to be factual? When documented it's no longer hearsay. It has a factual source which is open to investigation/questioning. If I say something that is factually true, it doesn't make it any less truthful because it is not written down.

I have no problem with your use of the word 'scuttlebutt'. It's a slang word for 'hearsay'. And 'hearsay' is passing around information that is not documented as factual. Why does information have to be documented to be factual?

I've had Mini on Wellness chicken (something) and she doesn't like it. She loves chicken but seems to prefer Holistic Select fish. She'll eat the Wellness but will pick around it to get to her (steamed) chicken. It's at least better than the Proplan Sensitive which she wouldn't touch. #fussybluegirl

Please answer this question, Cr Antonelli. Isn't the RSPCA investigating complaints about a rival animal welfare organisation and also being a potential rival for pound services also a conflict of interest? You should be able to answer this as it has nothing to do with the council investigation. ETA: it is rude to call this discussion 'scuttlebutt'.
