Did you talk to them about keeping the dog behind their fences instead of out roaming. Fix that, they've fixed half the problem.

Miss Mini didn't seem to realise she had anything done and bounced back by the time we got home. The trouble was preventing her doing her mountain goat thing over the furniture. She whinged in her crate.

My dogs' vet recommended the 3 yearly and said this is what he did with his dogs.

I read it as they were upset that the dog didn't get recognition. Of course, the dog doesn't give a hoot. Showing isn't about the dogs, is it. The dogs have no interest in ribbons.

Goodness, what if it's going to a show home but not to a breeder?

Comment Made By Rspca Chief Executive Mr. Michael Link
Sheridan replied to Moselle's topic in General Dog Discussion
Don't play with fire If you can't stand the heat! Your comment stands to confirm even more so what a hypocritical bunch you can be and guess what? I still do NOT agree that the poor staffy or mastiff should take the wrap for the attack on Harry! Um, they haven't ...? I believe someone else in the thread posted the meaning of the word 'could'. Suggest you read and digest. -
Dogs On The Corner Killed Old Mans Dog Sunday Night
Sheridan replied to memphis09's topic in General Dog Discussion
Sheridan with due respect, unless the Court ordered a specific fence, the owner complied with putting up a fence. As I have read it this is not a boundary fence. It is now up to the the owner/s of the dead dog to pursue the matter or the locals file a more formal complain with the council. And with due respect, oakway, the ranger should have checked if it complied. Maybe he did and said it was fine but even if he had and the dog got out, the Council may be liable anyway. -

I would think that most jurisdictions have enforceable fencing laws. If the owners were told to construct a fence in the first place, it sounds like this place does. The ranger should have checked to see if it complied. -
Unfortunately, Sway, although I entered him in Veterans at the first wheaten specialty, I became ill that morning and couldn't get us to Sydney. I don't know if those who did go were applauded. I would hope so, as I would have done had I been there. After that, my boy was unable to travel in the car so I wasn't able to enter him again. I think it's lovely to see the oldies.

i wasnt being petty about the vetrans. i really do not understand putting human emotions onto dogs it makes no sense to me. additionally, my dogs know they are special because i tell them. i am made of stone when it comes to sentimentality. Well, you just contradicted yourself right there.
-
Strange, I never thought it was "petty" to suggest that those who seek to honour the stars of yesteryear might do so without sending some from the ring without ribbon or recognition. But there you go. Maybe you don't have any old dogs, I don't know. Maybe you rehome yours as soon as they've outlived their ribbon winning days, I don't know. Some people seem pretty hard hearted when it comes to older dogs. You may be one of them, you may not. But to me, it just seems petty not to think veterans are special and to give them a round of applause. There wasn't a suggestion in the OP that ribbons were what the person/people concerned were after, simply a recognition of their old dogs so yes, it was petty.

I wonder if those 'made of stone' realise how very petty they sound.

I read on an email list recently about someone's dog fitted with an anti-bark zap collar. It was set off by another dog barking not just by the dog it was fitted to. I would take that with a grain of salt. The collars are constructe so that only the dog wearing it can activate it. This was the owner of the dog who reported it.

Well, I'm curious now. What's with the white curtains?

Wow, guess I shouldn't have killed all those redbacks today, especially given they were near the dogs kennels.

how about Breeders write reviews on puppy buyers and puppy enquiries? I think that's done already.

Dog Throws Up Any Types Of Bones?
Sheridan replied to haylz27's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Why did the vet clean 'excellent teeth'? Not that I have to justify myself to you or that it's any of your business at all, but Grumpy was actually having an operation for something else and the vet checked his teeth at the same time. Is that okay or would you also like to know what the operation was for and how much it cost? -

Bambi = venison, a deer's ear. -
That's the quote on my wheaten calendar for this month. It doesn't say who said/wrote it, though. It says 'anon'.

Since Grumpy can't digest bones any longer, he gets a bambi ear each night. His teeth are in excellent condition, said the vet when he cleaned them in January. He said one side was pristine and the other was nearly so. -
Good choice for a puppy! I believe there's at least one irish terrier breeder in Tassie but it might be worth you exploring other states breeders, too. Transport will add cost but as ChristineX said, they're worth it!

If the dog throws up bones, don't feed bones.
