  1. Animal Eye Services was recommended to me when I was looking for an opthamologist for George.
  2. OMG! Cuteness overload!! She is gorgeous ILBB! Congrats again.
  3. RIP Fitzy. Run free sweet boy....watch over your earth bound family. ;) So sorry for your loss labsrule.
  4. Awwww poor Joey but think how much better he will feel Jules. I always worry about my 2 under GA too but rest assured that he will be looked after really well. Will be thinking of you all tomorrow. Give the munchkin a cuddle from me.
  5. Good luck to Shiraz! Such a handsome boy....he will feel so much better once this is all over. Off the top of my head - pennyw74, Benji&Cuddles and kissindra's Cavs have all had the patella surgery - Benji&Cuddles and kissindra quite recently - I'm sure they would be happy to chat if you had any questions. Big from me.
  6. :D So sorry for your loss. RIP Bindi.
  7. Goodness that WAS a lot of flesh! So glad surgery went well (and thanks to the vet for the piccie!) and she is doing so well. Animals are such amazingly resilient creatures. ;) for her.
  8. Can anyone recommend me a groomer in Perth preferably SOR but I'm happy to travel for someone awesome. We have just moved from QLD to Perth so I have no idea about who's around and what they do - I have looked in the phone book but that doesn't really give me much more of an idea. I have had bad experiences with groomers where we used to live so I am loathe to just pick a groomer and try them out. Basically I have 2 Cavs - I don't want them clipped, just scissor trimmed, neatened & tidied and the usual things like nails and bathing. I usually do this all myself but I am the first to tell you I make a lousy groomer and unfortunately the kids came out of boarding in a sorry state - I have done what I can but I feel it's now time for a professionals hand to take over. Thanks heaps!!
  9. I find my girl gets some wee on her from time to time as she squats quite low when she goes to the toilet. Try just giving her a quick wipe with a damp paper towel after she has been out to wee and see how that goes.
  10. Yes Xrays do remain the property of the Veterinary Practice that took them although they should have no problems showing them to you and likewise should let you have them copied if you want a copy for yourself.
  11. I would go with what the company advises simply because they are the ones that developed the product so should know it best. Why don't you call Novartis yourself & ask them that question?
  12. RIP sweet Mahli - run free at the So sorry for your loss Bustam.
  13. So sorry for your loss Bec. Sophie sounded like a wonderful companion. Run free sweet girl & RIP
  14. Darling girl - I wish I could take your pain away. My words have again deserted me but know I am always here for you and am always thinking of you & Marc. Your gorgeous Lucy will forever be watching over you. Run free sweet Lucy - taken far too young....I will remember your sweet smile.
  15. Exactly what is puzzling me.
  16. I'm so sorry for your loss Jed. Run free sweet Poppy - you sure sound like you had the best life. Rainbow bridge has another angel.
  17. I regularly feed lamb necks to my woosie fairy dogs and they have no problems crunching them at all. I reckon your guys will be fine.
  18. I dunno but every vet I have worked with have championed raw bones as a fantastic way to clean teeth.
  19. Or try using those plastic storage boxes as the cats litter trays. I do - serves 2 purposes, stops the cats chucking litter everywhere and stops the dogs being able to get their heads in to eat the kitty box crunchies.!
  20. *snort* Awww Barkly is so cuuuute! Although as far as camouflage goes - he is failing miserably!
  21. Yep absolutely. Particularly as puppies when they get distracted by everything! Yes being on a different diet with less of the kibble can definately be causing looser stools but you'll find they should firm up again. Royal Canin is a good dog kibble - my 2 have it as part of their diet and they have done well on it. Just one question - are you feeding him plain boiled chicken or BBQ? If he has an upset tummy you will be better off with plain boiled chicken breast. BBQ chook can cause upsets in some pups. Please come and join us in the Cav thread - we'd love some pics of your gorgeous boy. Shiraz is such a great name!
  22. Absolutely agree with Gretel. I would be feeding a lot of small meals throughout the day. Pups won't starve themselves so providing he is drinking he will be ok on what we perceive as a small amount of food. Welcome! And yes - you must come to the Cav thread and post piccies!
