  1. I would not suggest anyone try Greenies, I think they are complete trash. All my dogs got runny green poo's from them, and my shihtzu choked on his!!! Also some of my cav's got green flem come up after eating them.
  2. We get alot of dog in over the spring/summer time with bad reactions to bee stings. It's not uncommon for dogs to have bad reactions to them, more common then in humans anyway. My cav's have had many stings. Usually it's there foot as they try to play with them and paw at them (stupid breed) lol You would think that after a couple of times they would steer clear but they don't. We've had many a swollen paw because of it.
  3. I use either Aloveen oatmeal shampoo and conditioner, or Fido's bright white shampoo. They both bring there coats up really well and don't agrivate the skin on my Cav's.
  4. Thanks for the advice Panda! I might just look into trying something different for them. Hopefully something that doesn't have a big price tag
  5. My dogs usually get either Science Diet Z/d or Royal Canin Hypoallergenic. My Cav's esp have to stay on these as they get rashy skin and itch alot if taken off. They also get some raw chicken necks and my shihtzu needs to have Bran mixed through his dinner as this helps with his digestion. He gets swollen alan glands if we take him off the bran.
  6. I think they were just overwhelmed by the amount of responses they got telling them that they shouldn't have taken the puppies. Bit scary when about 20 people all shout the same thing at you. But I do agree, the poor puppies, I hope they are going to be ok without mum at that age.
  7. Yeah they don't seem to bother us at all in Western Sydney.
  8. Sounds like he might have done an ACL. Don't take my word for it though!! Just seen a few dogs come in with same presenting problems, they can fix it don't worry Good luck for tomorrow!
  9. I think they are great ideas. Not sure if there's much money to be made though. But it's great for the consumer cause it's cheap and there's no mess. But I would be causious with taking my dog to one. Cause I doubt they wash them clean them between every dog wash, and that just makes it a great place for all pathogens to breed. But if they were cleaned properly and the place looked clean then I would use them. We used to have one here in Penrith but not sure what happened to it, think it was next to Coreen ave vet clinic?
