Can I join in or is it too late? Here's my darling first grand daughter, Miss Rubie Rose. Straight off the camera. No Edit. 1/52

How horrible for both your poor ole ewe and yourself. I believe if it were feral or hunting dogs the ewe would have been dragged down by her throat, most feral dogs go directly for the throat area. I think pony boy may have some answering to do? One other strange option could be bats, I know that probably sounds ridiculous, but I have heard of bats attacking elderly or frail sheep on occasion. British Bulldog - Flea Allergy Dermatitis
SheWolf replied to Carlo11's topic in General Dog Discussion
Yes please keep us updated on the 'brusied not broken' Pearl. Thank you Carlo11 for all of your hard work - she is very special. -
Ohhh they are so beautiful and I agree that the 'earless' babes will have extra character Many Bull Breed Breeders will administer calcium injections straight after whelping, it is really common for all BB to have calcium deficiency right after whelping. Good luck they are really divine.

So Proud Of The New Staffy Cross Today
SheWolf replied to Staffyluv's topic in General Dog Discussion
He is a real spunk Staffyluv, what a terrific save, I harp on about it, but the poundies 'know' that you give them a second chance and reward you with love and loyalty threefold. Brilliant Save! -
Absolutely adorable, lil fat tums.....
-
OMG he is just too cute, evil cute in fact. How could you not love him? More pics..... please.
-
Oh no what an awful situation. Praying he will come home soon. x

Some of my favourites of 'The Pack' a little indulgent but who doesn't love a clown like Stafford, especially when they are rescues?
-
Hi Juice, He actually went to Fetching Dogs rescue. He was a nice lad, still pretty much a pup. I took 'The Pack' out to me him last week at Renbury, he was good; no aggression, just still a pup so pretty 'jumpy and excitable'. He was mouthing at 'Fat Flea' and she looked at him as if to say 'you better learn your place boy'! lol. She then dismissed him accordingly. He will rehome pretty quickly as he is a good looker, young and full of beans. Hubby was a tad relieved as he thinks 3.5 dogs is quite sufficient for now.

Yes Sheena, it was given with their evening meal. It is really strange as all 3 were vomiting and unwell, the only common factor was the meds. Our old boy 'Jacka' has a cast iron constitution, he often (as gross as this sounds) catches and eats birds whole - in a single gulp!, despite being very well fed, he never regurgitates then, so it is perplexing.

Hi All, My pack (who very, very rarely) get fleas, seem to have an infestation at the moment, we are on holidays and have been trekking out to lots of rivers and dense scrub areas, so it is to be expected I guess. Two days ago I tried the new 'Comfortis' monthly chewable flea treatment and all 3 dogs have had an awful reaction, all vomiting for a full day and really 'off colour', lethargic and not their usual selfs. Today being day 3 they seem to be back to normal. Has anyone else experienced an adverse reaction in their dogs to this medication? I certainly will not be using it again.

So Sorry Rachel, I only just read this. Gypsy had a beautiful life with you, remember the good times, she will be waiting at the bridge.

RIP beautiful man

You poor thing, how awful. By what you have said there is not much you can do - BUT please make the introduction between the dogs off your property and on neutral territory ie. a park or somewhere they can be introduced with your dog being able to 'lead the inlaws' dogs home, do not allow them to bring the dog into your dogs territory , or even worse try intoducting them between a glass door, it will be a recipe for disaster! The best you can do in this situation is 'manage' the behaviour of the dogs to the best of your ability. Good luck with it.

Absolutely not, these days I trust my gut instinct. If it looks like a pig, smells like a pig and acts like a pig, chances are it's a pig. NO.

Congratulations on Alwyn - now we need more pics as soon as she is with you. Love Dacchies!

So sorry for your recent losses. Just awful. RIP dear sweet souls. x
