Hi Everyone, Wow, I go away for a couple of weeks and what a visual feast I return to..... Oh my gosh, Maddog.... I love Kito, that photo with the sock , how gorgeous is too gorgeous? So many spectacular images, love them all in their own right. I'm way behind as we have been travelling. So I'm going to catch up now Week 13 My darling hubby, who has endured no less than 17 rounds of neurosurgery in the last 3 years, taking a moment out, for some quiet reflection in 'Campbell Town' Tassie Week 14 Tamar Valley River, Really eerie location, quite 'ghoulish', the water was green and slimy in this little estuary, the rock face reflected quite clearly into the water giving it a strange feel. Ugly but beautiful, if ya get my drift.... Week 15 Magnificent Tree Carvings, something that really needs to be seen to be appreciated. These trees were diseased and instead of the local Council simply lopping them, they commissioned an artist to carve out these gorgeous, detailed carvings. We stayed here for quite some time, examining the complexities of both the wood and the carvings. Cheers

Week 10 - Okay, absolute sacrilege, I know, I took this at Woodcroft Lake on my iPod, while walking the dogs. It was such a spectacular sunset, I just thought, yep iPod shot this week.

Week 9 Happy Birthday Kokoda! Loving Jess's teeth, Tay. Someone looks very comfortable in that basket Helen. Okay, so this week I am using a shot I got just as the sun was going down at a beautiful nature reserve called Nurragingy, close to where I live This gorgeous old shack doubles as an 'old timer' blacksmith's hang out on the weekends. Always fun to visit with 'The Pack', we try to get there most weekends, as the nature walks are so glorious. Cheers

So many great shots; Week 8/52 Trifecta, Kitty on a mission! Look at that steely determination. MDD, like both shots, Dingo boy looks fantastic, I love Lightroom. Grumpette, great shots, all very pretty and interesting to look at. Canetoad, OMG, I love Wedgies, I have some really nice shots myself, but not sure if we can post up 'older' pics on here? Nice find!!! What a magnificent specimen he is. Tay - Jess's eyes look so kind and sweet. Okay, so I was just sitting playing around with my camera and decided to take some candids of my hubby, I liked this one of his eye, intense, with plenty going on..... :D Big fan of B&W, use it often. Anyone guess what he is thinking? Have a great week everyone!

Hi Everyone, 7/52 Grumpette, how adorable! That expression Like, 'do we have to do this, really?" OzStar, Like the second shot best, both great though. Couldn't make up my mind from these two. This is my 'famous' or 'infamous' Fat Flea, who won the 'Happiest Staffy' Contest in 2013 and was painted on the wall at Bondi Beach. She is a senior now at 13.5 years, but still in wonderful nick. or Have a great week - happy snapping!

Morning Everyone :) Week 6/52 Here's a nice shot I got of a flock of gorgeous and vibrant King Parrots while staying at a beautiful, remote location in Kurrajong NSW. The cabins are in the Grose Valley and are dog friendly, with lakes, streams and bush wilderness at your fingertips. We encountered much wildlife, it was a photographers dream! On another note, poor Dewey is at the Vet's on a drip, terribly unwell and I'm stressed off my head. Keep up the stunning images everyone.

Week 5/52 Hi Everyone, hope you all had a good weekend? Such beautiful pics, always brings a smile to my face to visit this thread. Loving the wildlife theme too. Well, here's my super smiling boy, with a gorgeous heart shape tongue..... 'Big Dewey' he is such a clown, a rescue boy who enjoys life to the absolute max. I do believe they know they have been given a second chance. Dewey recently underwent surgery for a big cancer on his back, as he is 13 this year, it has taken him a while to recover. *Big Dewey* and this is his recent op wound.

We seem to have loads of frogs around atm, hopefully they are coming back with full force. Such fascinating creatures.
-
I believe they are Ranga. Although I haven't seen them this vibrant before, they looked kind of 'rusty or orange looking'.

How gorgeous he is, looks like he is popping up to say 'hello'. Handsome fella!

3/52 Just across from where I live, we have a gorgeous new estate, which features many fascinating and authentically "Aussie" sculptures and works of art. Love this big, forged iron Kanga!
