  1. Greyhound folks give 1ml/2kg for 3 consecutive days of Panacur 100. i.e. 30kg dog = 15ml per dose. d/k about panacur 25.
  2. I will most likely buy mine from DWI - I have been watching the price fall - currently it is around $1,725. I bought my Sigma 70-200 from them and they were great. Make sure you get the firmware download from the Canon website to correct the problem they found in continuous shooting mode - another reason why I have been hesitating.

  14. we took a drive a little north to where the fires came though - very earie - felt like it just happened the day before - bark hanging and flapping charred trunks lying everywhere but new growth showing some hope Had a long chat with Ralph, apparently they lost most of their profits due to the fires - well due to the media telling people to stay home. Ralf felt that being in the rainforest they would always be safe. They had so many last minute cancellations, and they refunded money in good faith. The fires were 10km north and 10km SE of the resort. Embers landed on their property, but being green and lush all year round, they did not burn, just fizzled out. We stopped off at Port Welshpool on the way home - this is the best he could manage
  15. Spent a few days at our favourite holiday spot are we there yet :D yes we are the first day was cold - had the heater on at night and the greys were coated up - then the heat came, so had to do very early or late beach runs as it was way too hot during the day. as you can tell - the oldies had a ball
  16. A couple of years ago, we refused to adoped a greyhound to a couple who insisted on feeding the grey a vegan diet. I spoke to one of our greyhound vets, and he was quite happy to "stand up in court" for us should "discrimination" rear its head.
  17. Same thing happend to me a couple of months ago. My father was a wedding photographer many moons ago and I remember the stress he used to be under (in the days of film). Anyway - the best thing I did, was attend the practise run before the big day. I ( & the newly weds) was very happy with what I did - the bride and groom wanted mostly traditional, but they let me chose the photo location between the ceremony and the reception. This involved a lot of scouting around to find the "right" place - checking backgrounds, light/sun/time of day etc.. The bride was 8 months preggers so a lot of walking wasn't an option. Good luck.
  18. just got home from a weeks holiday - so have gazillions of pics to process here's a favourite so far of my "old soldier"
