who me :D glad to hear that "things" are looking better

Please explain :D I've seen the sliders but have no idea how it works. I've just worked out how to use the adjustment brush, and can't for the life of me get the hang of cloning in lightroom. I always seem to end up with two circles and arrows that I can't do anything with :D so I have to do that bit in Picassa That's why I don't do much editing as at my age I fear I will be dead before I get one photo "right". Well I am not quite sure I'll be able to get through all thems words, so I will double up at times. Have you ever seen a "lemon" "smile".....................................

I replaced my crappy canon kit lenses with these two http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/...?idProduct=1959 http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/...p?idProduct=163 At first I missed the extra "reach" going from 300 down to 200, but with the better quality lens both in clarity and stability, I can crop down to get the extra "reach" without loss of integrity. Next on my list is the Canon 7D (it has fallen another $140 so is getting close), as I am in desperate need of higher ISO

Have just seen this thread - Graham is fantastic isn't he? A lovely "character". He looks after our greyhounds if they have troubles.

Potassium Citrate is good as it rehydrates, sodium citrate flushes and dehydrates.
-
Vytrate or BVP Repalite are good
-
I won't mention brands due to some legal stuff going on, but be VERY CARFUL of any products that contain sodium citrate, which actually flushes the kidneys, not rehydrate the dog, as they can cause crystals to form in the dogs urinary system which may not become apparent for a few months/years.

I have enjoyed this challenge so much, not only trying to figure out what I'm going to take a pic of each day, but looking at this thread. Some truly inspirational images - congrats to all and big thanks to ASH. Day 31 - today a little story. You may recall our little visitor in her tutu, well she comes over every day now. I have a dog bowl of water on a cut off tree stump (for the birdies not the dogs). This morning our little visitor found it. Is she laying an egg? Is she having a poo? Or is she just cooling off her fanny? -

day 30 - we're having the ensuite renovated so the dogs only have the front of the house and no yard as the fellow is in and out all day through the side gate. He's been here since 8 this morning, and the empty peanut butter jar is a life saver! But now the "rolling it around on the wood floor" is getting on my nerves! -
OH NO - Roc was the heart and soul of the DOL photo forum - a star - a legend - I am so sorry, I feel as though I knew him so well. RIP Big Fella. annieK

day 29 - ok been out most of the day had to drive Billy to a foster carer way out west and to get there I had to go through here -
My two are typical of a lot of greyhounds - male is a sooky la la and hides behind me a lot of the time - female is a pain in the ar$e, a bossy cow, and we don't call her Satan's Sister for nothing!

thanks huga - that's because I made him wait behind me while I took some pics, once I "released" him lol he scuttled off in case it went without him - and of course I ended up preferring the shot with him in it anyway Being tall and skinny, he walks a bit like John Cleese -

Yes but we wouldn't have to post one every day - would we It might be nice to have an introduction to some tehniques that we could play with. We could have a theme - with/without certain techniques? -

I would like the "movement" one again. I was really too busy last time around and didn't participate at all. Was thinking about new challenges the other day. What about a colour theme. Let's say you shose green - it could either be of green objects, or any coloured objects but with some green editing. Mmm maybe that's a bit silly...lol Annie -

oh my - they look edible -
Interesting in this one, that the "bokeh" which has turned out slightly pink/purply is the cedar wood horizontal blinds, right behind the couch about a metre away from the nose.
