mmmmm very Christmassy but I can't imagine keeping the white parts clean. I also like the "formal" one.

What Questions Do You Have About Clicker Training?
anniek replied to Paul Bright's topic in General Dog Discussion
So what happens if I have lost my clicker and buy a new one - does training have to start all over again? -
Dry Food That Does Not Contain Wheat, Corn Or Soy?
anniek replied to Erny's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Happy to buy whatever you don't want/need - you can put the $'s in your coffee fund Can pick up/leave money at the kennels on the way home from work one afternoon if you like. PM me? -
yes it is nice Mine had to be made up, ordered Oct 20th or roundabout. It was mailed to me on November 1st, and arrived last Friday - the 19th
-
ok 2 very quick ones. I am now using the fluro wahl to store all of the empty camera / lens boxes
-
Mine took 3 weeks to get here Huga - so don't hold your breath. Will try and get photo's. I am supposedly working from home today, and getting further behind thanks to DOL .....

Yes I've received mine - but because YOU made me buy the 30m 1.4 my stuff won't all fit in now (you can't keep switching threads to hide from me )

Dry Food That Does Not Contain Wheat, Corn Or Soy?

Well that sounds hopeful Erny - wonder if he would eat ANY brand of kibble mixed in with the can? I am happy to buy the black hawk off you if you like, as I am about to buy a big bag and dread to think what delivery will be to down here...lol -
1.4

our Phoebe is a REAL reindeer not many people know this but that's why greyhounds sleep for 364 days of the year - they have a VERY busy night to prepare for
-
If it were me and one of mine, I'd be off to see Graham Brown - muscle man - he's at Pakenham. Hope Penny is doing ok.
-
here you go - didn't quite nail them, but I'm happy! oh and it wouldn't be a show without Punch
-
Phoebe at 1.4 - need more practice!
-
bugger - how easy was that. I'm sure that's what I tried (not ) Now of course I have about 200 million images to "re-edit".........................

I haven't used lightroom for ages. I did use it for our calendar pics, but for day to day "snaps" I use DPP. I find lightroom a little frustrating, as I get impatient sometimes, like for instance I can't figure out how to make my own presets so I just don't bother with it I find Picassa the best (of what I have) to remove things.

good lord no I have become a fan of the "smaller" lenses hence buying the 30m. I hardly ever use the 70 - 200 as it seems to get heavier to carry every day - just as I am feeling older every day! I'm finding the 100m good enough for what I want. Anything further away, well it'as just too bad On DWI - you click on the boxes on the right for Canon / Nikon, just as you click for a filter or extended warranty. But I do hope my camera bag arrives soon, I'm running out of places to hide my "shit".

that's the one - I got it for $429 - with free postge from HKBNS in Hong Kong

Great photos all of them. This one in particular I thought stood out. Just out of interest, what were your lighting conditions? Pretty gloomy here in Melbourne this afternoon. Was pleased with this shot - taken outside on the covered deck - but pointing down away from the light towards a black dog can be a challenge. ISO 200 - 1/1000 for this shot centre weighted metering
-
Yup I generally take the 1.8 to the beach (because it's cheap and light weight) and use it at around 3.5 - 4.5 for action shots. So will do the same with the 1.4 Well actually, I'll try the whole range in the morning - weather permitting at 6am!
-
Well I've had it about half an hour and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! A few quick happy snaps. First click - no hunting - indoors wide open ISO 2500 then out on to the deck Will need to have a good play around with the 1.4 DOF, but so far Will give it a really good workout at the beach first thing in the morning. did I mention I LOVE it

thanks everyone - now that I am over the shock it feels a little spooky - you know, having my baby hanging on someone elses wall! But yes, I am very pleased
-
bet you can't do that again

I am soooo chuffed. It's a fundraising site for the greyhounds, and I sell a lot of cards to adopters because they have their greyhounds on them, but someone bought a mounted print of MY DOG! try it now - here ....... in case the link doesn't work

Human meatballs with mince, oats and egg to bind. Cook in oven. Stack to look pretty - drizzle with cottage chese - voila :D then they just get one (or three each).
