  1. Hey Wags - just had a look at photoscape - am I rght in saying that you cannot edit raw images in there - only jpegs? It has some interesting stuff, but I seem to have multiple editing programs and keep going round in circles trying to do everything on one.
  2. straightemning doesn't make mine look fuzzy :D
  3. "Apply" is only applying it to the copy in picassa - you have to either "save" or "save as" somewhere.
  4. I just use DPP & photobucket for the pics I load onto DOL. I have those in both of the 52 weeks threads - I think they are soft too, though I blame resizing and photobucket. Lightroom is my choice for "real" pics. These large high res pics look great on my calibrated monitor and print well.
  5. I'm waiting on an email from a trainer in Launceston - his mm also does show dogs. Will pm you when I get it - best I can do
  6. Will try and find out for you - are you north? south? or doesn't it matter
  7. WOW some grest pics - well done everyone! Here's my week 4 of 52 weeks of Greyhounds. This is my foster Steel - he turns 4 today, so in anticipation of this great event, I took him to a local reserve yesterday afternoon, tied him to a tree and took some photo's ;) Haven't finished all of the processing yet - I should have a good one of him for next years calendar - meanwhile I really love this one! He is heading off to his forever home on Sunday, so I will take them a copy.
  8. When we moved house, the worst part for Mr Worrypants was me packing up boxes in the old house. He followed me from room to room, lying down next to the boxes as I packed them (just in case we were going to leave him behind). On the day of the move, he stayed with one of our neighbours while the removalists did their stuff, then we took him to the new house once we had some of the furniture in place etc. He was fine. We took him back to the old house the next day as we had to clean - he walked in through the door, saw that it was empty and headed back to the car - he stayed in there all day! So all was easy peasy - good luck!
  9. Great shor Bec. She was bred / is owned by Dan Biddle in WA - I have his email addy somewhere if you want me to look for it. A very handy litter.
  10. Week 3 of Cowboy. He didn't get out and about much this week as "we" have ongoing saga's with a sore wrist. This is where he goes when it's hot - apparently there is a cool breeze under the bed in the spare bedroom Oh and he's sulking/hiding because we have a foster!
  11. Week 3 of my 52 weeks of Greyhounds Was at a trainers place this morning and they have a couple of litters on the ground This pup sold for $5k - have to wonder how much he will be worth if he is a nonnie - probably just the cost of the green dream.
  12. I just flusjh out wounds with saline then leave them. I don't put on anything "sticky" like paw paw - dirt will attach itself to it. My going away 1st aid kit containes tweezers, hydrogen peroxide 3%, vetwrap, bandage, cotton wipes, saline, betadine, syringes, thermometor and superglue. eta and antibiotics
  13. Week 3 of my 52 weeks of Greyhounds this is our Phoebe in a sultry mood :D
  14. So - who did you see & is she all better now? Annie
  15. The things we do to get the shot Yep - it's hard to get "over the top of" shots with the greys, they are tall and big. Pretty much why I HAD to buy the 30mm - the 50mm just didn't cut it
  16. 30mm - with me standing on a chair - in the front yard - throwing treats in the air Happy Birthday Bronson
  17. I seem to recall reading a blog from a tog fellow who took his 7D to the snow in the antarctic - so I don't worry too much about mine!
  18. Week 2 of 52 weeks of Greyhounds. this is my foster Steel - I picked him up last night straight after having his vet work done. I tell ya - the bigger they are the dumber they are. He is totally harmless but does not have a clue He does however think he's in heaven, but I may have to go to the hospital to have him removed from my leg.
  19. I have a friend who free feeds her two greys. It's a PITA when I look after them as they won't bloody eat! My guys are used to "food down - eat - all over". Her greys tend to starve for a couple of days when they're here as if they don't eat within 10 minutes that's it til next time.
  20. Sounds wonderful - except for their discrimination against my greyhounds
