  1. Bugger - first lot came straight through - second lot stuck with AQIS. Tried to ring but they are only "open" until 4pm. efs
  2. We were away on holiday last week and just realised I hadn't uploaded week 41 before we went. So here's week 41 of Cowboy and week 42 - Cowboy on holiday
  3. Do the stiches look a bit tight? If so you can put a bit of vaseline (sp?) AROUND the stiches, which may make him a little more comfortable. Maybe take him out for a walk to tire him out a bit. But, he is a male and most likely just a big sook so you may just have to put up with it..lol
  4. week 41 of Greyhounds bathtime zoomies - catch me if you can!
  5. Entire females do mark - some constantly. One of mine has to cock her leg on every spot in the yard where the males have, and on power pole... And subsequently frequently pees on her trousers/feathering. So very similar to a male. Either gender if desexed will be less prone to this though. my female as been desexed for 7 years and she is a worse marker than any male I have known. She can balance on her front paws and pee backwards
  6. Same for a greyhound when "in the zone". My old boy had over 100race starts - he ran on adreneline. He is generally reserved, terrified of other dogs, loves people, but cetrainly not "bold" or "timid".
  7. Week 40 of Cowboy i smell a storm coming
  8. Well they will have to make it cheaper than that - I just bought 120g from the UK for $44.50 including postage.
  9. Week 40 of Greyhounds This is Gemma - her mum and I were having coffee at a doggy cafe after a grey walk. Gemma was across the table with her mum - then she decided she would like to have a taste of the food on the table. I snapped this as she was heading for my plate..lol edited because for some reason the photo did not load!
  10. I think that is very likely - the local RSPCA fails (kills) many surrendered greyhounds that have flea allergies, even though we have offered to take them.
  11. That is soooo funny Snook - exactly what I do Plus, if busted and they start walking towards me, I then look annoyed and move to the side to "re focus" as though they are now blocking the view of what I was trying to photograph. Certainly not for the faint hearted - probably why I am crap at it and admire Snook! Annie

  17. Week 38 of Greyhounds Our lodger Smokey celebrated his 7th birthday yesterday. We had a nice gathering - a few greys and their owners. This morning we dropped him off at jetpets - he's heading over to the UK tomorrow to be with his mum and dad. Here's the birthday boy. oh and it's no party without Miss Fibbs..
  18. Week 38 of Cowboy Nice and early this week - yesterday afternoon we had a bit of a celebration - Smokey our lodger turned 7, and today he headed off to the UK to be with his family. We had a lovely afternoon with some Greyt friends, 2 and 4 legged - a BBQ and doggy b'day cake. Here's Cowboy at the party.
  19. I know - a real bummer - that is the stuff that worked the best for my old bloke - and something he didn't mind in his food. Have tried most everything else, and either he won't take it, it doesn't agree with him, or it doesn't work as well. Currently trying tuffrock, but it is a struggle to get him to eat with this mixed in. No doubt something else for the large shelf full of no goes
  20. Week 37 of Cowboy really must get more creative - it's either the beach or the local reserve isn't it, but his limpyness limits his walking time these days.
  21. Week 37 of Greyhounds GSN foster Taylor who I met up with earlier in the week. Sunshine & Raindrops
  22. I know - from a distance it looks like a small white fluffy which my dogs are fine with, but a lamb - I don't think so And she has two dogs with her, who appear to be guarding the lamb, so I can see am almighty dog fight breaking out. Will wander dowm in the morning with my camera and take my far away lens.
  23. There's a woman started walking her pet lamb on lead on our dog beach - so that has buggered it up for most of us.
