  1. LOL, im pretty sure jbbb and flames_daddy know how much im looking forward to it!!! my girl Karma is going to have a great time showing off and scabbing cuddles from everyone...
  2. damn! i keep forgetting to bring in the CD's with my training pic's to work so I can send them to you... is Monday going to be too late?? I have some pretty good ones.
  3. Thats fantastic news! I know myself how it feels to have a CRAZY dog who wont focus on you... after using Steves training in drive method on her for a while, I swear I have a different dog, now she is a dream to work with..
  4. Yep, I definantly want one of those ball thingys too (will email you direct Steve with details, etc) can we send in more than one picture for the competition?? I have several dogs and would like to submit 2 of each dog (one "still" shot and one "motion" shot).. is that ok???
  5. Ill be there! I enjoyed the last one so much there is no way ill miss out on this one... plus its a great excuse to have a play with miss flame!! (and see jbbb and flames_daddy too of course!!) if im able to bring karma along we'll have to test out that orange rubber toy of flames that makes that loud noise (karma will probably jump through rings of fire to get you to throw it for her)... if she completely trashes it ill buy you a new one... p.s. would prefer a friday if possible...
  6. RIP little Roxy girl, you were taken before your time by a tragic accident. Your energy, smile and constant happiness will be sorely missed by all. You left paw prints on the hearts of all those who met you and you will never be forgotten. Condolences to Kelly, Tim and Tank. Love always and forever, Kelly, Luke, Ruby, Karma & Neo.
  7. poor cocker spaniel!!! ill bet you had your hands full with that one!!! definantly go with the home-owned, but always ask for experience, qualifications and if possible, before and after shots... it would also be preferrable if they were members of P.I.A.A. when I was looking into starting up a training business, I looked into franchises (i.e. dog tech, barkbusters, etc) I was pretty disapointed in the lack of support available and the fees etc that must be paid (not to mention the bad name that comes with some of those franchises!)... having your own business is definantly the way to go...
  8. lol, flame nearly got over the fence too... im pretty sure cindy said henrys neck was 65 cms!!
  9. lol, I love being mobbed too!! every time I look at the pic and see the expression on your face it makes me laugh... gosh henry is such a big boy! 65kgs of love...

  12. hey guys, I had a great time at the info nite, definantly glad I went... here are some pics from the night... I tried to get a good shot of Cindy (the lab) but she kept wiggling and moving so all the pic's were blurry... heres one of flame:
  13. im loving this thread!! Amhailte: have seen 2 amstaffs do very well, I did some bite work with one last week, she hits hard, good bite too..
  14. I used to feed my dogs Supercoat but switched to Nutrience and although there is nothing wrong with Supercoat (its pretty good) ive been blown away in the change in my dogs since switching over... their coats are so shiny and the energy level is up, they look great, plus they love it!
  15. awww, sounds like i missed out on a great night... im looking forward to the dvd!!
  16. Hey Steve (k9 force) just wondering, is the book you were talking about (Applied Dog Behaviour) written by Steven R. Lindsay? LOL, edited to add, Herr Rottweiler just answered my question... thanks!!!
  17. cant say I know much about Delta, lol, I just asked steve where I should go and he recommended NDTF... I havent looked back since...
  18. nope, no way near as long... only a matter of a few months with the obedience trainer one. they have exercises (un-graded) to do also so if you have your own dog it really helps (LOL, im guessing you do..) I really cant recommend the NDTF course enough but if its not financially possible, try to get some hands-on volunteer experience with a good obedience club... you will learn so much more from it
  19. YAY!!!.... will have money to steve tomorrow. Myszka, should I PM you with my address, etc?? and should I pay P&H to you??
