Far to many pages for that Someone might be ambitious enough.

You can show in any state of Australia you like. I highly recommend the tour through the Northern Territory in July

Poll: Have You Ever Used The Report Button
-Megz- replied to sandgrubber's topic in General Dog Discussion
I'm sure it's been used against me several times but I have only used it to show Troy multiple threads on the same topic so they can be merged. I'm fairly pedantic about doubling up threads so it's something I do out of habit. Makes things tidier. -
Electronic Entry Forms Program, I Lost Mine
-Megz- replied to MellG's topic in General Dog Discussion
Another ShowManager user here. I have 3 accounts in fact because I do entries for others. First dog is free indefinitely so give it a go with one dog and see if you like it. -
The thing is, it is not the ANKC as such that determines these things. Delegates from all of the State/Territory bodies meet and vote on these things. Two delegates from each State/Territory attend the conference. NSW, Qld and Vic have two votes each, all others have one vote. So, I'm guessing Qld voted no and most others voted yes, and now Qld are acting like a spoilt child because they didn't get their way. By the way, I think this title is stupid. Maybe not the title as such, but how it is awarded. Normally to obtain points you need to beat all the others in your breed, or at least all of one gender, whereas with this new title you just need to win a class to gain points. I don't think there will be many instances where there will be more than one Neuter entered, so it will just be a matter of entering 17 shows and getting 6 points a show. Yes, I know this happens in some breeds anyway, but I don't think it is much of an achievement just turning up 17 times. I guess that judges can nil award, but it rarely happens with the CCs, so I doubt judges will be more inclined to nil award a class (actually can they even nil award a class? I thought judges could only nil award a Challenge). Even though I think the title is stupid I think if it is voted on by the delegates then it should be implemented uniformly across all states. I agree that it is likely that many Neuter Champions will get through on just 6 point Challenges but not because they have avoided competition but because there is no competition, much like a rare breed obtains their titles sometimes. There are in fact 4 Neuter classes that can be offered/competed for. So in actual fact if a club was to offer all 4 classes and a breed had a dog entered in each of Classes 15, 16, 17 and 18 then there will in fact be a Challenge line up for Neuter Challenge and then similarly for Classes 15a, 16a, 17a and 18a. Before moving onto Best Neuter of Breed.

Hi - just a little bit of confusion here as it was actually John Brunnenmeyer and Andrea Merkle from Albury Dog Rescue who won the award - known as "Andrea&John" on DOL. OMG Sway made a mistake why don't you PM her and I am sure it will be fixed. I think this was when my phone stopped sending texts and I made a quick call. Albury Dog Rescue would have stood out through the quick whispers. Sorry guys, my fault.

Given that I have just bought a dog trailer and a trolley and paid entries and all the normal stuff I can still honestly say that Joe has spent more on his car than I have on dog shows. While that remains true I will be fine.

Took myself off to Alice Springs for the weekend. They turned on beautiful cool weather and some great judges. Show 1 Harry (Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Ch Ironstaff Bad Tothe Bone) won Best in Group Show 2 Harry (Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Ch Ironstaff Bad Tothe Bone) won Runner Up to Best in Group Show 3 Harry (Staffordshire Bull Terrier - Ch Ironstaff Bad Tothe Bone) won Best in Group We also had a Adult Handler's class, we weren't allowed to show our own dogs so I swapped with Elle McKay and showed her black Poodle (Standard) - I have never shown a Poodle of any size before so that was an experience. I came 1st and Elle with Harry dog came 2nd Great fun in Alice Springs as usual!! Next show is this weekend and I am making Brownies!!!

Anyone won yet? I like DOL because I like Dogs and the forum is for dogs.
-
My bet would she will very quickly remove it or may find herself in the thick of this. Imagine if a reporter got hold of the info.
-
I'm a great "ignorer"
-
Oh look Steve's here :-P
-
Nope, no Labs. I put some results on my facebook if you are interested.

Harry dog is dropped off, I could see it in his eyes when he saw all the people there, he was like yeah love you mum are you gone yet? I have people to play with...
-
Just Harry Dog. DR did you take fly/bug spray?
-
If there is something to act on I can't see a CC ignore it. I think the burden to at least commence the case lies with the person putting in the complaint to provide a decent amount of evidence, but the CC's can go from there. Look at any previous complaints/issues, doing their own checks through the database etc.

In the NT you get the money back if your complaint is justified.

Oh is there rules now?
