  1. Thought I'd do an update. Title Rosie the Beagle - Nearly there, will be counting her points tonight after our weekend away. Eagerly awaiting Ben to turn 6 months to compete with Rosie - He's going through the uglies now but is still winning CIS High hopes for Princess Patricia Pointer - Not many shows thus far for Miss Pat but Fwarkie beat her last time she was out Gidget the IG is looking very nice and growing well so more hopes there - She's won a few RUIG and many CIS awards. We think she is gorgeous. Get to some shows down south and catch up with everyone - Does Alice Springs count as down south??? I have been living by this so far, we have been having picnics and yummy baked goods at most shows and having a really great time. Well I think so at least I missed one :D but we are still in the show ;) All these guys have done us extremely proud this year and it's only just getting into the busy season. Hope to continue on our winning ways in the middle part of the year. We have welcomed Clarkie to our fold as well with many thanks to SBT123 and Ashanali for their help and guidance with these two. Fwarkie has already won a RUIG and we are hoping for more now that he is finding his feet on some real green grass :D Love you Warls My trailer is being delivered today which will make life easier and much more fun. Now to sweet talk Aziah into sending me a WC(P) and we will be complete :)
  2. There is also this thread for your 2010 stuff http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...=184607&hl=
  3. We had sooo many laughs on our drive it was awesome! The dogs travelled well, the shows and people were great as always. Rosie Roo won 4xBOB 4xJIG and 2xRUIG and had some very pleasing comments from the judges which are very encouraging. She got over her fears and attempted to play with Dollop the Great Dane at Tennant Creek on the way home which was an absolute classic. I can't remember who won. :D I know the Irish Water Spaniel from SA won 2x BIS. BIG 1 at 3/4 shows was a Paceway Lowchen. I'll pull my catalogue's out after dinner and remind myself what happened.
  4. We finally got on our way, I think we were up to Plan FW by then but we left relatively on time. We've had many adventures. Wabbles, rattles, bangs, crashes, rips and the Moon to name a few but we arrived in one piece and the dogs are fed and watered. My trailer will be here on Tuesday, bit late but can't be changed now. Looking forward to a fun weekend with lots of great people.
  5. One of the very first shows to offer these points will be Alice Springs on the 2nd of July with 6 shows on offer.
  6. Nope it's only within the breed. As you don't really win BIS it's considered a CIS award.
  7. Cav's are on the Wednesday at 10am according to Estelle Nix's voicemail service
  8. This hasn't happened to me but it happened to Sandra twice. Because there is only the two of us that the dogs show for when we get split up it can be hard when other people help out as they don't really know the dogs and Sandra is used to me handing her the next dog. We had a double header and I was showing Bonnie the Pug in the other ring when the Whippet's went it and she was handed the wrong dog. When I got there and realised it was too late the judge had started judging. Now under the rules this means that the dog in the ring is disqualified because it has been judged in the wrong class and the dog that should have been judged can't be judged because a class can't be rejudged. Such a waste and a mistake we thought we would never repeat but it nearly happened again. I must have looked quite scary when I ran into the ring with the right dog just as the judge was about to put his hands on the bitch on the table, he stopped pretty quick while I explained that the wrong dog was on the table. Of course it's funny now but at the time it was frustrating.
  9. Oh and Harry my Stafford decided to hump me in the ring last weekend. No one really noticed though.
  10. I was actually out of the lineup CC, about 2m behind letting my dog sniff around .... I think CC meant PF's efforts. I have taken many stacks, not realized a ring rope had been there and alike but my favourite stack was when Denis the Pug pulled me off my feet. It was quite a damp night and Denis was in the mood to move so he went before I was ready and I slipped forward. Anyone that knows Denis knows that I was very quickly on the receiving end of wet Pug kisses but who can get mad at that face I did a full Barrel Roll in Alice Springs a few years back with a Dalmatian - the dear just wagged her tail at me and waited for me to get up and keep going. Ripped my favourite, very well worn pair of trousers at a show once and mum had to take me home to change
  11. No you can have your own bay. There is a window in one so you can see through but it's dangerous to stick your head out.
  12. Didn't I tell you we had a bay for you in the trailer??? Well if mine doesn't arrive we have 8 berths to play with we might even open it right up for you and you can have one double size one There is a back up plan if my trailer doesn't arrive
  13. *fingers crossed* My trailer leaves NSW on Friday this week - I thought it was already on it's way
  14. I wonder if the legalities of using others recipes makes this a little risky for MDBA to be involved with?
  15. This is why I don't acknowledge the judge until the other dog is in it's place. Our rules say a Class cannot be rejudged - that is completely all encompassing and I've had it work against me a couple of times in the past.
  16. Did we give you a refund? No cause I never mentioned it. I don't want a refund though it's still a donation. Was this auction - http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...=184576&hl=
  17. I didn't receive my last item that I won at auction. I don't mind as I was donating regardless but perhaps I should have mentioned it.
  18. That was Sway's excuse ;) One day i would love to do it, but two-three days to get there is insane !! :D Sook
