I really like Chase Looks very nice. I achieved my goal of 1 BIS this year.
-
Any results?
-
Shows tomorrow - WOOOOT!!! I'm not having withdrawals at all!!!!!!!!!
-
Sorry to ask a dumb question, but do those numbers correspond to the number of dogs entered in each group, ie 36 dogs entered in the Toy Group etc?????? I will be going to watch as much of it as I can and learn what I am able, so if you see a slightly demented woman watching everyone intently, it could be me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come and see us, we'll be set up next to the Hospitality tent as we are every year
-
I have a couple of awesome Warley Wear coats for my guys :p but I never need a jumper.
-
Yeah, it's about 10kms from my house :D Another Group 7 person here. I'll be the one being dragged around the ring by 2 exciteable Danes Do you need an extra set of hands?? Love one You're a sucker for punishment. Especially after the first experience Hey now - I won once didn't I?? HAHA Second experience was an improvement

Yeah, it's about 10kms from my house Another Group 7 person here. I'll be the one being dragged around the ring by 2 exciteable Danes Do you need an extra set of hands?? I'll be there for varying amounts of the day from Thursday through to Sunday I'm assisting Warley and Ashanali in being there in spirit showing dogs they've owned and/or bred Have a couple of people to help out which always makes it more fun for me - I'll show anything
-
6 more sleeps til the Darwin shows
-
Have fun Megs and everyone else!
-
Agreed - also I am more likely to look at the length of a lead, I'm very very particular about the length of the lead on various dogs.

We've had neuter classes as a regular fixture at our shows for quite some time We already have the support behind the award which gave the NT a boost for sure
-
True, but if for instance there is only 1 of your breed then your only going to get the minimum amount of points. Therefore it is going to take forever to be titled!!! It is a shame you don't get points for the others that you beat in Group or show. No different to the one of breeds getting a title really - doesn't take long at all. 17 shows at 6 points each - like I said - potentially 12 down in 5 weeks = massive head start.
-
NT has a fairly substantial chance considering the nearly dozen show head start we'll have
-
Not sure how their title works but it may be the first in the World towards a specific Neuter title First in Australia at the very least
-
Not entirely true. You can show Neuters at Crufts and most BOB's and CC's are towards a title.

To me I don't care how a pup turns out. I do my research, I find a breeder that meets my (or my OH's) requirements. Then I research some more and then it's luck of the draw. We last bought a 10 month old Stafford. There was less guess work in it at that age but still luck that got us a very nice dog. Could have just as easily gone south but at the end of the day there is nothing that would make me give my boy up. He is our dog and will always be even if he was ugly as sin and didn't win a thing. I understand that others have a different opinion as they don't necessarily keep things they can't show etc but our situation allows us to so we do.

I had some fun finding some very nice Whippet's in the kennels the other day. They are 3 now - just long enough I thing

I think this sentiment could have been put a lot nicer, dont you? It isnt like she has come on here and said that Joe Bloggs has dyed his dog. Now has she! Miss B as others have said its prolly honestly best to turn a blind eye! I know it really sucks but it will cost you to make a compliant and in all honestly it will more than likely get ignored anyways. I know of people that have made a compliant paid there money had evidence (an email sent to them admitting that the dog was dyed) and in the end the person who made the complaint ended up copping more crap and backlash and nothing was done to the person dying the dog. What Showdog quoted was EXACTLY what you posted JSK, are you delusional? It's in black text right here on the screen in the thread. I stand by what I said, people can think that another is cheating in whatever form but unless they can PROVE it there is nothing they can do about it so at the end of the day they can either beat them with a better specimen, accept that they have no proof and compete regardless OR stop showing.
