  1. I hoped mine would arrive today but no luck - hopefully before the Royal
  2. I bought two from K9+ on eBay too - they were soooo quick with postage, like 2 working days quick! Great quality.
  3. Or they could have been using old/recycled ribbons. Some of our clubs reuse donated back ribbons to save themselves some dollars. I remember when I was on committees we would order a full set for each show but for one show a year we would only need to top up the total to make a full set. It's always been Reserve and Runner up for the time I can remember.
  4. Haven't you learned your lesson on bagging AB's shows yet? Not quite sure what you gain from being so rude all the time.
  5. Is there some magical disappearance of chicken hearts? I can not get them anywhere. Is there a way for a private person to source such things and get them delivered?
  6. Oh yeah - business cards are a great idea
  7. Thank you kirst goldens. I have tried again to up a photo of her but to no avail. It worked. It worked She is lovely J
  8. There is a Swedish Vallhund thread in the Breed Sub Forums - I'm sure the frequenters can help you in there
  9. so it's just a money making thing then? Well I hope all the city folk appreciate that they have even more shows for them to attend close to home, while us country folk get less. Do clubs break even/make profit on shows in the country areas?
  10. I would think this is one of the largest purebred dog forums in the world. It's a huge draw card for me.
  11. As the title says, why did you join Dogzonline? I was still in Junior Handlers when I joined, it was a wonderful source of information and camaraderie amongst the posters here.
  12. I would be interested in a catalogue being available online the day before a show. I can then proofread my exhibits, make sure I'm not bathing one I don't need and to suss out the competition
  13. 8, one from TAS/VIC/SA/WA/QLD/NSW/ACT & a Polo to NT (maybe a jacket still deciding). They will all be put into "State" groups and then a "Walking Coat Hanger" will be drawn from each group, that way it is all spread out and fair. :D It's cold enough at the moment here for a jacket! That's what I said! lol
  14. I don't know about others but dog shows are important to me. I wouldn't do as much as I do, travel, entries, training, money etc if I didn't think it was important. I enjoy, even love, the time I spend at shows both locally and when I travel interstate. It may be safer to keep your opinions to yourself but it's also human nature to give them. Not getting so wrapped up in what others should or should not do and concentrating on my behaviour, the behaviour I can control, has made showing as enjoyable for me as it was when I started. I had a year or so where I felt I was just going through the motions but recent changes in myself have seen me excited to show my dogs again.
  15. A good exhibitor is an invisible exhibitor.
  16. I use a yellow and black tool/fishing box - heaps of room for all my essential items
  17. I always send the paperwork to my local association, send in the membership paperwork along with the papers as then it can all be processed together. ETA: The back should be signed by the breeder, you complete the rest and submit it like that.
