Marine Girl

I have a almost 5 month old staffy that has a problem dragging the middle of her paw, her middle toe nails are really short. The vet has said that it could be a bit of nerve damage. I would like to take her to a dog chiropractor to see if this can be fixed or helped in anyway. I prefer alternative medicine to mainstream for humans and animals. I had a 12 mth old Boxer and she starting limping and I realised that there was a lump on her leg, say where our ankle is and it started getting bigger quickly..took her to our vet and he did a biopsy it was Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and a very aggressive form, I was informed..and that longterm there was no real solution, it would have just been prolonging her life a little, but in my eyes no real quality.. Vet gave me all the options and I came to the decision that I wouldn't go through chemo persolly and made the decision to have her pts, but chose to have it done at home so it would be more peaceful for her, as she was a rescue and had enough crap in her short life.... wish you luck with your baby..

Have fed all my dogs pet grade raw chicken mince and add veges& rice, along with chicken carcases ...they never had health problems and looked great.....or put on too much weight, but being Boxers are always active..

Tried Frontline previously on 2 dogs and 2 cats for 6 mths, did nothing... Am using Advantage Duo its great, but will be trying advantix now that it is summer live in bad tick area, constantly have to check my cats..

Fresh is best..go to the seafood section of your supermarket and 1 whole fish of whats on special, I mean around the $5 mark per kg...is not expensive and all my dogs have loved it.. Lucky I have friends that fish and Pearl will get snapper 1-2 times a fortnight..

I have always fed whole carcases to my Boxers, even to my old ones with hardly any teeth.... 2 at night I get them from Ringal Valley Farm Chicken Farm near Bennets Green, Newcastle for $1 kg..... Get my chicken mince frozen from Leader Pets, Budgewoi 10kg at $12 Frozen Kangaroo tails $$ savers petmart, Charmhaven at 2kg for $2.50 Sometimes coles or woolies deli's have them too... I also feed whole fish, they luv them... never had problem with bones..because they are raw

Don't know why boxagirl uses oats, but I was told by someone that breeds boxers and has a pet boarding business, where everyone gets BARF..... that oats help keep blood warm in winter and barley keeps blood cool in winter....
