    My Baby Girl

Big hugs to you and your family Pandii :mad RIP Ishka
  2. RIP Abby Again I'm sorry for your loss Trace :mad
  3. Words cannot express how sorry I am that we made the decision to let you go, but please know that I have always loved you and will always love you more than anything. I went up to the pound on a warm day in Ocotber 2005 looking for a new addition to join our family. There were plenty of dogs lined up in the cages, bouncing up and down as if saying "pick me, pick me" And at the end of the hall huddled in a cage was you, curled up in a ball in the corner of your cage. I sat down next to you and coaxed you over for a gentle pat, you were petrified but at the same time grateful for the affection. We were only there for 10 minutes, when I'd decided you were the girl for us. We brought you home and introduced you to your new life, where you didn't have to worry about not being fed, not having a warm bed to sleep on and not being loved by all those around you. You quickly settled in and it seemed like you'd been with us for years, the kids adored you, you let them cuddle and kiss you whenever they felt like it, and they loved you for it. Just as I always will. No matter what what has happened, and what we've been through, you'll always be my princess, and I can't wait to see you on the other side of the bridge where once again you'll be mine. I love you with all my heart Keisha RIP Love, Mum, Dad, Samantha, Emily and Narla your sister Banner generated at Pimp-My-Profile.com
  4. My aunty had a daschund cross kelpie (was the size and shape of a daschund, with the kelpies colouring and face) she "sucked" all her life right up until she passed away at the age of 16. She especially did it to the inside of sleeping bags (while you were in it :D ) I though it was cute, but the sound became quite annoying, especially if you were tired.
  5. Sorry about his knee but the mental image in my head

  8. Hey Shekky sweety!!! I know how you feel in regards to the frustration of trying to get them to gain weight, except satin balls and lamb flaps did the trick for me (eventually ) Have you tried Iams Savoury Sauce??, that might encourage him. It sounds kinda yummy http://us.iams.com/iams/en_US/jsp/IAMS_Pag...amp;articleID=3
  9. Advice given so far is pretty spot on, I really just came in to say welcome to DOL, always glad to see another fellow rotti lover on the boards

  11. I'm sorry to the OP if you find this offensive, but in short I think what you wrote was a load of crap and naive. That's all I'm gonna say.

  14. Ohhhh it's so good to know I'm not alone ;) So far Narla (rotti) and Keisha (dobe cross) have : Pulled up all the retic and chewed on majority of the sprinklers. Chewed through 5 hoses. Stripped my MIL (we're renting her house) fruit trees, all 3 of em Ruined her conifers. Broke their outdoor setting that they left behind for us when they moved Our backyard also looks like the moon, they have a designated spot to dig, but that's not good enough apparently. The chewed through the coaxial cable which was 1.6m off the ground. A pair of MIL $70 shoes, she had them for 1 day...not impressed Hubby accidentally left the shed door open, so the girls pulled out two bags of concrete mix, tore them up all over the backyard, and ate some Destroyed their bed covers Destroyed our rabbit hutch..the rabbit now lives in a super sized aviary that was reinforced with industrial weld mesh. But get this, never pulled anything off the line So somehow I have to get her trees to their former condition, but I have no idea how to do that ;) I'll take some pics of the trees later to show ya's what I have to fix.
  15. How about a Daschund, Bull Terrier or Mini Bull Terrier?? There are heaps of wonderful breeds to choose from
  16. My girls get supercoat....they're at their optimum weight, coats nice, shiny and soft. IMO Supercoat is a super premium brand, my girls thrive on it, and that's all that matters. Keeping weight on my 2 is extremely hard, and I had tried everything from Home Brand right up to Hills ... then tried Supercoat and the change was unbelievable. Ashli
  17. Mel I'm sooo sorry Run free Jye Ashli xx
  18. Awwww.....I'm so sorry to hear that... He's such a gorgeous boy, and with the love and adoration you give all of your dogs, they've had happy lives and will one day meet you again. Ashli xx
  19. I'd come to the perth one....I can't get Keisha to stop jumping up on everybody.
  20. I rescued my 8 month old dobe x Keisha from the pound and got my 8 month old rotti Narla from Greyhoundangels and even though they are still young, they are protective of our daughters aged 3 and 6months. When we are out walking, Narla walks along side the pram and doesn't move away from it, and Keisha walks right next to my 3yr old and won't let her go off the footpath. They both adore our children and us as well. At home Keisha and Narla bark at people that walk too close to our fence, they alert us when someone is at the door, the back gate, or near our car. But to be honest I don't think Narla would bite an intruder, Keisha might though. I'm 6ft and weigh 64kgs, and both dogs are strong, but do not try to yank my arms out of their sockets. They love all dogs, except undesexed male dogs, dunno why ;) And whilst I'd love to do some kind of protection training with both, I live 700kms away from the nearest city, and to my knowledge, there is no training/trainers available here in Kalgoorlie that do anything other than obedience. Wish I lived closer to a few cities Ashli A piccie of the girls with my 3yr old, even at home they have to be around her 24/7
