  1. One of my bullmastiffs used to get soooo carsick she would start heaving as I put her in the car  She would vomit and vomit and was not good as the clean up was horriffic and we used to have to get her straight in the show ring. Thankfully she too grew out of it by about 10 months. She is still not brilliant in the car but is great in the dog trailer. Is the stafford Maggie, a Vanstaff baby? If it is, she is my boys sister. We wandered which one was the car sick baby as we took them all to shows but one had thrown up and we didn't know which one. My boy thankfully is fine, he has had 2 trips to Sydney lately and has been fine Cheers Ali
  2. Is it possible he has had a fright? As in maybe a mouse in the kitchen or the likes that may have scared him? Other than that it sounds like he is like a human baby. Has now got into the habit of waking. goiod on you for not taking him into your bed again if you do not want him on your bed. Perhaps you could try crate training and start by having him locked in the crate in your room then once he is comfortable and kinows the crate means bed and sleep, then move it the room you want to be his. Maybe now he is settled in and knows the kitchen means food, he is carrying on about that too. We are training a 10 week old ourselves and we desturbed him the other night so I just took him out for a wee then put him straight back in his crate, no talking or anything and walked away, he settled straight back down. Also, do you have a teddy or similar for him to snuggle into? I cannot recommend crate training high enough Hope something helps Cheers Ali
  3. Oh, Onslowsmum, you poor thing. I have a book that says if you use 1 cup hot water with 2 tablespoons of borax, pour it on and leave overnight, then scrub the next day, most of it should come out. Not sure if it will work but it is worth a try. We have just renovated and thank god we have all tiles now!!!! Cheers Ali
  4. Thanks All, keep the worse stories coming so I don't feel so bad!!!! My Bullmastiffs have been angels but i should have known with a Stafford. LOL. His name is Dash KW68, and hopefully the next DOL meet in Canberra, I can make and he will be fully immunised so I can bring him and my Brindle Bully who thinks she is a Stafford! Cheers Ali
  5. He is being crate trained and sleeps in his crate but we like to have him out as much as possible. The biggest prob is the kids as they will be playing with him but then forget to put him back in the crate! I certainly agree with crate training and it is great for toilet training! Cheers Ali
  6. Hi, We have a 10 week old Stafford pup who is heavily into chewing. He has a kong, bones, teething rings, you name it, he owns it! Trouble is he still likes the dining table legs that are brand new and when OH finds out we are both in $%(#*. Anyway, any suggestions on what I can put on the furniture to deter him shewing. I heard citronela works? Cheers Ali
