I am missing your comforting presence and those wise old eyes, christmas is just not the same without you.

She has been slowly going down hill for the last few months so we knew the time would come, I'm sad that she didn't get one more christmas with us but she will be here in spirit I'm sure. There is already a noticeable absence in the house which is very hard to shake. I know that Pets at Peace will look after her and when she returns to us she has a place with her other old friends on the dresser.

This morning we said goodbye to our little old treasure, for 15 years she has been the most loving companion to all the children, she has tolerated many foster puppies swinging off her ears and been the most wonderful mother to many orphaned creatures. We will miss you doddering around the house and rushing off to some place only to forget why you were there at all. Rest easy my friend you will never be forgotten.

I have used pure lanolin, it is very greasy and thick and takes quite a bit of licking to get it off.

Heart Murmur In 6 Week Old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
fiona mills replied to Meeka17's topic in Puppy Chat
My old girl went in to have a cyst removed and to be desexed when she was about 5yrs, they removed the cyst but didn't get to the desexing, they had to wake her because she wasn't handling the anaethetic, they told me then they could probably never anaethetise her again because it was too risky. She has never had any heart medication and has been a happy healthy girl, she is going quite senile now, and her face is nearly white, but still loves dinner time and still wags her tail. -
Heart Murmur In 6 Week Old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Hi Meeka17, I wouldn't panic too much just yet it is early days. I have a blenheim bitch here who was diagnosed with a severe mumur when she was young, She will be 15years in April and although she is now stone deaf and her eyesight isn't great she has had a healthy, problem free life. Good luck with your puppy. -
Just wanted to put this boy up in case anyone hears of someone looking for a flyball or sporty kind of boy. He is about staffy height, very active, very fast, will chase a ball and is responsive and keen. Not sure what the mix is ??? maybe some jack russell???? All his vet work is done and he is very dog social.

Thanks Hesapandabear, This is the nose in question. Do you think that's what it is?

There was a thread about this some time ago but I can't find it. Can anyone advise or point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I'm not sure about pugs but I know that after debarking, some of the squishy faced dogs can have a bigger problem with snoring because of the scar tissue. Maybe ask your vet.
