ok our club has set up a clicker challenge for over the summer break need to teach your dog to do a obedience move or trick they dont already know using clicker training. a fun way to introduce people into clicker training.. soo im trying to think of an easy trick or move to teach remy (stafford) for the challenge. i was thinking walking backwards as he has very little knowledge of his back end.lol so it would be a good one to do with him so where do i start??? also an easy trick would be good too. he knows wave shake high 5 ..10 trying to get him to roll over he just wont do it..lol he started to when he was younger but now has just lost it..lol

i bathed my 5 week old foster puppies on the weekend they were a bit grotty and smelly and will bath them before they go to their new homes as well. no harm in bathing baby puppies as your lil one is older it would be no worries at all. good idea to get him used to it now while hes young, make it a positive experience and hopefully he will love it.

i agree, i wont be using c5 again, my stafford was c5 and hes had KC twice, my small fluffy has not had c5 only c4 and he didnt get it.. the minimum for our club is c 4 so i think ill be doing that from now on the money really isnt an issue because if it needs doing i would do it. but i just dont see ther benefit when hes had it twice, the first time was mild after the vaccs, the second was a bad case and ended up on antibiotics with chest infection as well..

interesting to read,, i have an old rescue girl here who the vet thought was about 14 and was starting to suffer dementia.. she is only 9 years old but had a hard start to life which i guess has aged her. other than the symptoms you described she has no medical or other conditions,, she just plodds along when it suits her.. sorry i dont have nay helpfull advice for you, was just interesting to read another dog with same symptoms.. my girls eye sight and hearing is deteriorating, she sometimes misses jumping up on chairs, couch.. and does get a fright if someone walks up to her and she hasnt seen or not ready for them

my goodness.. that is some chewing there.. the most mine have suffered is the home alone toy,, the yellow plastic part on rope has a few teeth marks in it, where labby boy used to grab and pull it. couldnt pull the part he was suppoosed to the soft part no had to pull the hard part, i only get it out every now and then for stafford i wont leave it there he is obsessed with larger soccer ball size balls, hed hang himslef trying to get it i reckon.
