  5. RIP to the beautifull jakey boy. a brindle stafford boy who sadly went to the bridge last week he was playing out in his yard with his 7 year old human friend, when he got in the way of the kids games they tied him to the clothesline on his teather.. not long after the family had an emergency and had to go out. jake was left tied to the clothesline and the parents were not aware of where jake was when they came home just one and half hours later jake had perished and died in the hot QLD sun. all the family are devastated, the children are mortified to say the least BIG BIG lesson learnt here and such a horrible horrible way for their best friend to leave them.. so very sad... a chilling reminder that animals die in the heat no water no shade.. he did not hang or strangle himself, he simply dehydrated and perished in the hot hot sun.. ;) RIP jake best friend to many.. you didnt deserve to be taken run free little man and be safe with my boy dodge he will look after you now..
  6. your 18 month old child is a baby... babys/children and dogs should never be left alone for any amount of time.. that cute lil pup is going to be one big dog soon... he needs to be taught also , what is acceptable and needs to know who is the leader of your pack.. please dont take this the wrong way. children need to also be taught how to behave around dogs. 18 months is not to youngt o teach your son.. good luck would love to see pics.
  7. ohh look there is a pic of the said puppy in one of her posts.... hmm would be good to see some different action shots.

  11. lol remy still does it at least once a day hes 7 months now,, he thinks that he needs to hold my hand or pants when i walk out the washing line..lol its the only time he does it..lol either that or hes saying no mum dont worry about the washing play with me...lol as gramps " dougie" said.. pups are pups , they will grow out of it
  12. mine are fed, eagle pack, rmb, chicken carcas, fruit and veg, on alternate days, and go maybe twice a day
  13. hmm interesting,, similar thing is happening at my place. toby has started some food agressive and snappy behaviours.. not sure if its the age or what.. or the need to compete now remy is older and they are competing for top dog status.? he does dominate remy. tries to steal food , gulps it down, and will start a fight to get to remys.. remy is a slow eater and will sometimes submiss to toby,, but if its one of his fav foods he will fight back. which is what im worried about..., i have taken away food bowls.. because toby claims ownership over all of them,. i feed them individually by hand.. NILIF make them work for it. i get the kids to feed as well.

    Puppy's Collar

treats praise, and lots and lots of praise.. as Tb said feed dinner time,, or just by hand heaps of treats,, pat her and touch her when she has it on reward her for everything.. take a few steps call her and praise her heaps.. she will get used to it eventually . the key is , persistance praise heaps of rewards and take it slowly with her, do it over and over thru the day, a few mins at a time
