Orson has never had that much feathering. Oi can have but I've cut most of it off !!!! But then, they're not show Cockers They haven't been done for about 4 - 5 weeks now. Orson Oi In the process of ordering a new blade I love the look of the show Cockers but I'm happy looking at them :D -

What have you got already???? SInce Maverick and Gomez are sleepers and not showies, they dont require as much attention. I'm sure the breeders etc can tell you that :D I bought a Mars Coat King but I haven't had to use it as much as I thought I would. Professionals would do handstripping instead. I mainly use for my sleeper Cockers are: clippers with #10 blade scissors - straight, curved and thinning (I dont use all of them all the time) wide tooth comb slicker brush nail clippers -

Can you get some photos of them stacking??? that way everyone can see them properly and give you suggestions :D You want the look or similar of the bottom pic anyway cos Gomez and Maverick are English Cockers. The top pic is of an American Cocker -

Have you had a look at this site???? http://www.geocities.com/paws_with_style_grooming/ When I do Oi, I use the clipper to shave the front of her front legs which then just leaves the excess fur (feathers) showing on the back of her front legs. As for her back, I shave the side of them and that leaves the feathering to be on the front of her back legs... Did that made sense??? :D -
Glad to hear Ollie dog is doing well  You coming to the Tupperware party tomorrow? Haven't seen you in ages ;)

NEVER cook the mince if it's got any bones in it!!!!!!! I cook my chicken mince (breast or thigh) sometimes half cooked..... Fully cooked mince lasts a bit longer and less messy when your dogs have long floppy ears like mine I mix it with some veges at times too. They get RAW chicken wings and recently chicken carcasses....I pick the small ones for them so I dont have to sit for hours watching what they're doing ;) They do fine on it and quite happy ;) Cooked chicken mince is alright as training treats too (as long as you dont mind getting your hands a little messy

I buy the tins that say Alaskan salmon. I remember seeing saying you shouldnt buy the Atlantic (????) or something....can't remember now I buy the sardines in oil and tuna in springwater. I haven't bought fresh fish for myself for a while now, let alone the furkids ;) They get chicken breast and wings most days. They also get yummy veges ;)

How Many Dogs Do You Have?
kaywoman68 replied to leopuppy04's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
2 dogs Try to have a short session every day. Used to take them to obedience (passed puppy and beginners). Class time for intermediate is too late for us :p so we stopped going Orson and Oi are about 21 months old (turn 2 in April) - they're 2 weeks apart No I dont but OH concentrates on one and I concentrate on another when we do. only the 1 breed - Cocker Spaniels -
I feed Orson and Oi a bit of ham every now and then.....

So sorry to hear about your loss, Rozzie and Mr R Run free at the John -
;) :D to you and your family through this tough time

Even for us, there's the possibility for us to catch bugs etc from eating cooked food. I dont think anyone is safe from anything. I feed Orson and Oi chicken wings all the time. My mum's dogs get chicken wings and chicken tips etc all the time. For all the owners who have been advised to feed no raw chicken, is it only raw chicken or raw meat in general?????

Yay! Glad to hear Ollie dog is well Big cuddle to Ollie for me please! :p

That's so cute Orson loves doing it!!!!! This was from a DOL meet early in the year I find Orson hardly does it when he's inside. The house is all tiles except the bedrooms and loungeroom so he can sleep on the tiles and cool down. I always have to big bath towel handy incase he does decide to do it. It's right next to his water bowl..... Get a narrower water bowl, maybe that will stop him cos he'll only be able to put 1 paw in at most......

Sorry to hear about your loss Paula Shadow :p
