Thanks Brooke, I've updated the title. Those legs (and indeed the rest of the body ) belong to Flames_Daddy. He is also a huge fan of camo. luvinshep - I am the contact. I will send you a PM with some more details. -
Oh you poor things. My thoughts are with you tonight.

Oh no. I saw your post and was hoping for good news. Hugs to you and your husband and both your pups.

Of course you can!! -
K9 Force has agreed to have an info night on the Central Coast. This is a great opportunity to meet with K9 Force, hear him talk and also ask him billions of questions! I dont think there is a particular agenda at this stage (although I want to hear more on Drive Training), so if you want to discuss anything in particular, please let me know and we'll make a list of things for Steve to talk about. The info session would go from 6:30pm until about 9:30pm and will be held at the southern end of the Central Coast. For anyone without transport, we are a 5-10 minute walk from a train station. Cost is $40 per person to cover K9's time and petrol. Please let me know if you would like to attend, as I am organising the list of attendees. Suggested topics so far (if you want any other topic covered let me know): * Training in Drive * Getting attention (particularly from a group of dogs) * e-collar training Update @ 3:55pm 22nd June: Due to all the requests for a Friday night (both on here an in PM's), the night has now been booked for Friday the 14th July. Updated to add a list of topics.

Here are a couple of backyard shots - you can see her focus...

One night Flame decided she didnt need to go to the toilet before bed. The result was a 3am wake up call (a bit of whining followed by more insistent barking) until I took her out. Well, after that she decided that going out at 3am to play in the moonlight was fantastic and whined again the next night. I took her out again as I didnt know if she'd been to the toilet before bed or not.... The next night I took her outside before bed, shutting all the doors and told her to go to the toilet. I waited until she finished then I took her inside and put her in her crate. At 3am the whining started again. She got told in a very growly sleep deprived voice to be quiet. A couple of minutes later she tried again and she got nothing but silence in return. After a couple of sorry for herself whimpers, the noise stopped. The next night she slept through until normal wake-up time. Ah, the bliss of waking up after a full nights sleep! This is one time that Flame didnt get her own way!!

Hi Fat_Mongrel (love that name! ) And welcome to DOL! If you have a look at the very first post in this thread there are a list of dates for the rest of the year. The next one is 2nd July.

Well, if it hurts, you must be doing it right!!

Myszka, both of the other days we turned up early with Flame. Maybe we could turn up early and Flame and Rex could meet and have a play, then when other people start showing up you could assess whether or not to stay?

I took a bunch of photos before 11am. Flames_Daddy resized the photos of Flame and Bear, as he loves doing the whole montage thing, but we still have to resize the rest of them and choose some that aren't terrible... somehow I seemed to keep getting photos of dogs rear-ends!! FJ and Bailey - I think you're the only people whose email address I dont have (whose dogs I took photos of), so if you PM me your email address, I'll email you pics of your dogs as soon as I resize them. Alison1474 - Belle looks like great fun! I cant wait to spend some more time with her! We once again had a great time, but admit to being a bit disappointed that we had to leave early and miss out on lots of doggy fun. We will have to make up for it next time.

They predicted showers for the last one, too, and it was beautiful! We will be there unless it is really pouring down....
-
Oh, bummer. I was looking forward to seeing Genevieve again.... (what colour are her toenails painted now?? ) I dont mind if the Christmas party is on a Sunday. Only one more sleep until the doggie meet! Yay!
-
Well, it looks like we might be getting there early and leaving early, as we have another doggy related activity in the afternoon, and it's a bit of a trip for us to get to Rouse Hill.... Anyone interested in meeting us at 9am or 10am? We'll likely be leaving around 11am, when everyone else is arriving....

When you wash your dog, you strip the oil from the skin. This isnt good for the dog's skin, so I would suggest washing as little as possible. Smelly skin can be caused by the diet. We feed our girl BARF and she never smells bad. Oh, and washing bedding regularly really makes a huge difference, too, otherwise it's like they're marinating in their own smell!! ;)

Alison, you can boss to your heart's content! These things never happen if someone doesnt take control, so a big ;) to you for posting the thread! And also a big to hlk70g for suggesting it! Saturday 3rd June is only a week and a half away!! Yay!

When Flame was doing her 5 minutes of 'helicoptering', she was flicking the toy from side to side, throwing it and catching it and basically playing with it as she was being led around in a circle seemingly endlessly until she dropped the ball, which was a missed throw and catch, rather than a drop. She was still interested in the ball and wanted to go back to it as soon as she'd dropped it. So, should we be using a tug toy instead? NB. just want to say she was not allowed to put the ball on the ground or anything, but she makes her own fun while she's on the move!
