  1. I have sent an email about the distance package and got an email saying they'll send it when it's available, but I havent received it yet..... To the people who have received packs: are you all located in VIC? Just trying to work out if the distance pack is actually available yet... I dont want to miss out! Thanks
  2. Thanks!! I might go to the pet shop in the city at lunchtime and see if they've got any...
  3. Click HERE for a link to K9 Force. (hope that works!) Steve is a fountain of knowledge on why dogs do what they do. All dogs adore and all owners of misbehaving dogs thank him!!
  4. Hey Winterpaws, is that the Pet Barn (behind the service station)? Or is it another place? Thanks for the info BTW!!
  5. Hey Winterpaws, where do you get this stuff? Vets? Pet store? Chemist?
  6. Yes please!! Count us in! (as long as we dont already have something on that day). Great idea, Winterpaws!! Edited to say: Yay - we'd finally get to meet Charlie and Henry!
  7. Our dobe isn't destructive either (unless it's a something you've given her to play with - some fluffy toys just become fluffy carpet!). She will pick things up and walk around with them, but doens't chew them eg. if she thinks it's time for a walk, she might bring me a shoe!
  8. Hi wyvernblade, we got our dobe when she was 10 months old. She is very intelligent, and an extrememly fast learner. We have not done any formal obedience training with her, but we have taught her a bunch of tricks that we find come in handy. She is quite food-oriented, which makes her easy to train. I would like to do some agility training with her - I think she'd love it. When she's old enough we might give it a go. Temperament wise - she is a big sook who loves being with us. But she is also quite happy to spend hours napping under a tree or chewing on a bone if we are not home. She is not at all highly strung, infact I would call her laid-back (except when someone is approaching her territory, when her guarding instint comes to the fore and she barks at them). I have met several other dobes, and while I can't tell you what they're like to live with, I think ours is fantastic! jbbb
