Ask a repo specialist. Near impossible for a dogs testicle to come down many months / years later. There is a certain time frame while the dog is growing that the testicle can be brought down. The tube that holds it is so thin. Sorry but it basically would be like sh!ting a watermelon. Also there would not be room with the prosthetic in to come down! You would think while the so called vet is putting the prosthetic in he would check to see the state of the retained testicle.!!!! I don't buy the story. Any vet worth his salt would not leave a retained testicle inside a dog as it leads to cancer. Obviously you've never had a baby. I have had two

Have seen it happen with a sheltie, he had a retained teste and at 16 months he got bitten by a snake, thankfully the dog was saved but then the teste was down within a week of it happening. I dont know how but I know it happened. The dog should have been desexed as any dog retaining a teste is at a high risk of cancer. It is all to do with the size and length of the cord. It would be extremely rare for a dogs teste to come down after 6 months of age and almost impossible if it had an implant blocking the way! On the subject of cheating there are many in our breed who do dye their dogs masks black. Two years ago bitch shown at specialty with very grey face. Few weeks later she arrives with a fully sprayed on black face. Same exhibitor showed a dog that was put to the end of the line at a previous specialty because of his artificial face. Good friend of mine bred the dog and was also horrified the person left a hand print on the side of the dogs face! To this day exhibitor is showing a dog with varying shades of black on his muzzle. Just depends if she remembers to do the face or not I guess In NSW several dogs with identical blue black muzzles that abruptly stop above the eye are fashionable. :D Yep it goes on. I am sure most entries will get there OK. I would just check with Joy that the entry did arrive if you have addressed it incorrectly.

Ummmmmm are you sure this story is actually true? I have shown for more years than I care to remember and have heard this very story (breed changes each time) for many years.

It is hidious but they are pulling down the dog pavillion after this years royal and hopefully the new one will be much better. We are in Sheltie day and Dane day. Cannot remember the dates off the top of my head. Will also be there for the Junior Handler State finals.

I have had several of these types of emails over the last year or so. I think they get the details from DOL or other similar breeder sites.

I certainly let mine eat them. They are full of nutrition and in the wild a bitch would not leave the den for a few days to get food so this would be her only food source during those early days. Perfectly natural and healthy. I just make sure I account for each one.

Our numbers arrived as well. After a really sad day yesterday having to give my old girl her wings I got stuck into packing the trailer and back of the Triton. Boy BJ and I have some gear but we are staying over for 4 nghts. Bringing the heater and also our heated throw rug. And plenty of wine!!!!! Bianca has been booked to handle some Affies down there so that will keep her busy. If anyone else needs a hand BJ is happy to help out. I can handle as well but most prefer the kid LOL............... she must do a better job than me! Looking forward to the break as it has been a shite start to the week.

There is very little PR regarding the pure bred dog world. Some see us as a secret society! CC's need to raise the PB profile and reach out more to Joe public. Many people have no idea what a dog show is all about or other sports available to purebred dogs.

I am leaving Thursday and friday will have a cake etc. I am looking forward to relaxing (if that is possible as I am taking Perri and her babies LOL) come say hi and have some cake. Might even break out a bottle of wine! We won't be arriving until Saturday so will miss out on the cake but I'll come and say hi for sure! Do come say hi. We probably will still be in party mode on Sat.
