Ian Rasmussan who was at the meeting and on the Junior Handler Committee for Dogs QLD announced it on Ozshow! It was moved by the president Ainslie Carius. Office probably has not been informed. It only happened this week and will not commence until 2012

I usually do this. Though at the last show when my boy did win, I received the ribbon from the judge and proceeded to step on my boy's foot. Whoops, sorry! I once won a Best In Group and when the judge gave me my prize which was a fairly sizeable bag of dog food that I promptly dropped on my boys head! He then went and hid behind the judge

There used to be a rule at Durack about it (maybe it has changed) I know our Dane club never held fun days in conjunction with shows on the ground there as they were not allowed to bring their dogs. We used to do the fun days at other public grounds.

Oh that is no good! QLD would have a six month suspension for that behaviour! Bit hard to suspend a member of the public with their pet (not an exhibitor) Very hard :-) should the general public be bringing their dogs to the show? Rules up here state a dog must be entered to be on the grounds. Unless they have permission from the show manager.

But soundness differs in breeds. In Pekingese, a "sound" dog moves wide in front with a roll, and narrow behind. A Chow Chow must have a stilted gait, mostly caused by it's "perfectly straight" rear. Some breeds are not supposed to noticably converge to the centreline when moving, others are supposed to single track. This is why I say:

Hi I need a new sigy pic. Could someone kindly do one for moi? Thanks!!!

In my humble opinion a dog cannot display breed type without displaying soundness. It goes hand in hand.

Regular vitamin C tablets are next to useless. You need a quality Vitamin C powder one that is Calcium Ascorbate based. These have better absorption rates.

Congrats SB!!!!!! Your art rocks! Not going up the hill. Too much drama to get there, get up and down the hill, parking, kids have to have the day off school (two days actually for two groups) then if you win you have to go all the way back. Been there done that! Won a Best In Group at the Royal and in show! Good luck to all showing.
