  1. LOL Gayle - makes me so proud to hear someone call him a rocket!!!! We've been trying to increase his speed so looks like it's working . As for the see-saw trick.... lets hope he doesn't repeat it!!! So dangerous!!!! :D :D
  2. :p Crazy enough - makes me THRILLED to see it as I've been working this past week on just SPEED.... If that is the effort of 1 week of 'remedial' training - I can't wait to see what else he has to offer .... Maybe he'll be a 'working spot' after all ;). No more trials for us for a little while though I loved the run! I must say even my nut hasn't kamikazied off the seesaw - Leo's one up for that He looked like he was having a blast!!! We're doing Bendigo's double agility trial on 11th May and then that's it until Wangaratta in August (where I'll have to kidnap handlers, I'll be a turtle by then) At least he doesn't bite me on the butt like some dogs I know ;)

  4. I think you are right about her sensing change  Might I simply suggest - with her new 'demands' that you don't give in as this may not help when bubs comes along. Keep to your strict routine of what you usually do - let everything be on YOUR terms and be quite firm (but nicely) if she does push the boundaries. Make sure she understands what you want of her. Employing techniques such as NILIF (Nothing in life is free) might also be worthwhile... therefore- she has to work for everything she 'wants' (dinner, couch time, walks etc). Perhaps even upping the 'basic' training a bit may help
  5. WG - I was talking about it to someone yesterday - she was checking up to see if Leo was still for sale .... I had to laugh when she said - well - Leo had a cracker year last year... there really was only one way to go..... DOWN!!! Lets hope he doesn't get stuck down here though... The brags thread is more comfortable
  6. Does flying off the see-saw, bad handling and getting lost on course count as a disaster?!?!?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZHn2qov1lE  How embarassment!
  7. Nah Erny - apparently they are just coming to steal my dogs and pick on me :D
  8. - I don't know if I want to go training with you lot anymore!!
  9. ;) Gosh - these people are SO rude on DOL!!!! TSD - NOT mean at all - Perfect for DD!!! ;) Actually - where's the one where the smiley gets run over by a bulldozer - that's the one I need! Yes- that's Brockie - Leo's full brother from a repeat mating ;). Can't tell the similarities at all can ya :p
  10. - I have no idea what you are talking about!!! thanks - everyone saw it before me!!! I only just got it today and heaps of people had told me 'oooh nice piccie of Kinta weaving'... I was very confused, because I was under the impression that my dog doesn't know how to weave yet!!! At least.... as far as I know....
  11. *Holds tightly onto Peace* My arms hurt - can I let go yet?!?!
  12. For a dog that has a million ways to NOT do it correctly YES PLEASE  I can bring some UD stuff too.... if anyone is up to that
  13. Yup - you are pretty much guaranteed to have a train go past at some time during the trial. You would be surprised how few dogs this bothers though, even at trials ;). Honestly - it doesn't bother me where we train - I'm herding until about 11 I think.... so any time after that (say.... 12:30 onwards) will be fine and CDODC is about 2 mins from my house SnT - was it a good pic or an ugly one?!?! I haven't got my mag yet Also - was she actually weaving?!?! I didn't know she could ! TSD - We haven't met coz you are avoiding me :D ;)
  14. KCC PLEASE!!!!! Am doing herding in the AM with the ferals!!!! *counts on fingers*... I think K will be just out of season too!!! :p
