Prokolin+ . (it's Ok, Found Some) :-)
kelpiecuddles replied to _PL_'s topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I just googled it and it's made by Protexin. We stock protexin at my work so if you are still having trouble give me a yell and I'll see if we can get it in and I could post it to you -
Chinese Cresteds And Tick Preventative

We were advised that it was OK by the company rep(and a lot of our customers use both) but still worth checking for your own peace of mind -

It's worth sending the previous seller a message via ebay. A few times I've done that to check and they were still selling the item I wanted and put a listing up for me. -

We sell the Scalibor ones at work and get really good feedback on them. They are fine to wear when swimming but it is recommended to remove them as they are harmful to aquatic life. -
Recurrant Cleft Palates: What's Going On?

I would have though food or drug related too but I wouldn't totally discount the pond, some pretty dodgy things can grow in ponds, blue-green algaes and things of that nature. -
Cheapest Place To Buy Advantix?
kelpiecuddles replied to kelpiecuddles's topic in General Dog Discussion
Thanks. I presume I can google that, I'll check it out :) -
Just wondering if anyone has any awesome tips for the cheapest places to buy it, online or otherwise? pretty sure I got the last lot off ebay, shipped from overseas somewhere. I'm happy to do that again if that's my cheapest option but thought I'd ask here first.

My cat's not fat, the dogs snuck in to the house today and ate all of her 3kg of cat food and tore apart a bag of fish food all over my bed. Today dogs are NOT the best in my house!

Chinese Cresteds And Tick Preventative

It wouldn't work well on cresties as it has no hair to stick to I would imagine. Since he has hair around his face I would be inclined to double check it with the company and then just use a partial dose up high between his ears so that it goes through the hair around his face which is where he mostly gets ticks anyway, you'd still need to check him though. If it's OK to use on him you could mist the rest of him lightly with permoxin before you go walkies. Tick pick up the heat signature of animals walking past. Since his has no fur to trap body heat he would be letting off a higher heat signature than a regular dog which explains why he's a magnet for them :) -

Are they old enough for some puppy kibble? If so i'd be throwing a handful of it around to keep them busy for a few minutes. -
I wouldn't be too worried, I like doggy ears in all their forms. Unless she's a show dog it doesn't really matter and no matter where they end up she'll own them :)

Update On Irish
kelpiecuddles replied to Little Gifts's topic in Dog Rescue (General Rescue Discussion)
Can't you just tell them that your mum has dementia and didn't understand that the cat was being surrendered and likely to be euthanased. i'm sure they get the odd one or two where animals get surrendered by one half of a couple where the other didn't intend them to be and things like that. -
So the reporter called Dancinggate Kennels a backyard breeder but the owner called them a registered breeder.
-
If a puppy has made it to 8 weeks without contracting parvo and then gets it after a week in it's new home how could they honestly think it's had it from the breeder's house...

Just a small edit that you've missed an 'a' in your sentence about sleeping in A crate at night. Fabulous flyer though!

The ones at Bunnings are big enough for a child to fit through. If you can pick one up very cheap it would be a good one to try and then upgrade to a more expensive dog proof one if he loves it.
-
Just FYI, I'm pretty sure they have similiar ones cheaper than that at Bunnings at the moment, think they had ladybird ones on sale for around $12!

Lamb flaps are like a sheet of ribs. My dogs get some every night for their dinner and they love them and believe me they will crunch through the bones!

What Breeds Are Most Common In Your Area?

Thank you auto-correct! -
I dont do canned food either but I'm in the 'whatever your dog does best on' camp
-
The water percentage in raw meat is around 65-70% and google tells me the average water content of tinned food is 70% so really the 'mostly water' argument doesn't really hold water.

Perfect :) He'll have a ball!

If you need a long line and you are coming from north stop by the pet shop in sth nowra on your way through and grab one of their horse lunge lines. They are 10 metres long, only $12 and I use them on the beach for my girls.
