Maybe you could approach it as more of a friendly curiosity that at the same time makes them aware you know there is an issue, something like: Hey I noticed *** seems to be barking heaps more since Bark Busters was here, have they got you doing some sort of training with him? Might start more of a conversation rather than it sounding like an accusation if you know what I mean.

If she's currently behaving no more than regular puppy type interest in them then I would persevere with training her for now and see how you go.

OK so I just googled, what they are saying is that it is a supplement that encourages the bone marrow to release stem cells. The websites look pretty hokey to me but it sounds like it's just another supplement with things like kelp and other bits in it. Sounds like another one of those things that is completely unnecessary for the average healthy human/dog

As in a food they eat and it releases stem cells? What a crock, stomach acid doesn't actually work that way!

The easiest way to post a picture if you don't have a photo sharing account it to click on 'use full editor' below the writing box. Then at the bottom of the page you'll see an option to browse to choose an image from your computer, click upload image and then it will appear in your post -
British Bulldog Training

Any good trainer will be able to assist you with a stubborn dog and ultimately it's perseverance. Plenty of breeds are known for being somewhat stubborn. If you explain where you are I'm sure people could recommend someone if you want personal training or a good dog club in your area. -
Dogs Travelling In Caravan?

Hold the phone, we might have a solution! News flash in the last minute. Turns out there's a second car to move that belongs to my father in law, we might have to drive two cars anyway -

LOL, it's not just the car and the van, it's actually moving from one side of the country to the other so there are people involved too, some things are being shipped but they pay him an allowance to move the car and van himself. Also it's a four day trip and we were going to do it over two weeks, so it was actually going to be a family holiday not just a straight run. Doesn't matter though, such is life. -
Dogs Travelling In Caravan?

Unfortunately we don't really have anyone here I would trust. We have a lady who will be feeding our other animals for us but I don't want the dogs left alone 24/7 apart from feeding for nearly 2 weeks. All or no one in this family, our dogs always holiday with us and are used to ten hour days on the road and all sorts or things. Just a shame it's the small car that has to be moved and not the large car -
Dogs Travelling In Caravan?

Out of curiosity(genuinely interested), apart from ventilation, etc which as I mentioned I would have altered the van to include, how do dog trailers differ in safety from a small well built caravan? Honestly not trying to be argumentative just don't know a lot about dog trailers so I was curious where the differences lay. -

sigh, not an option either, one especially would be very stressed in kennels. Sadly I think the whole trip might be called off. -
Dogs Travelling In Caravan?

OK I feel I need to explain a bit more because it's a bit complicated. We do own a car that fits the dogs in the boot(Outlander)which is what we would usually use to tow the van, however that car is in Jervis Bay on the east coast, the van and my husbands car are in Perth and need to be brought back. So for one trip only we need to transport five people, two dogs, a sedan and the caravan. It's a one way trip so we can't swap cars with anyone as the car won't be going back to the point of origin. -
Pretty sure Kirty works in the Malvern area so not too far away from there. Maybe you could leave him in the car until you're appointment and suss out who else is in before taking him in.

Dogs Travelling In Caravan?

Yes Flippy that was a concern hence thinking we would have to modify it for extra ventilation and the intention was to have a baby monitor and temperature gauge so that we could monitor them from inside the car. DA as I mentioned there is nowhere for the dogs to fit in the car, it's a five seater sedan type car and we have three children. -

That is what we will do if we are pulling it with our other car but for the first trip we have to move my husbands car plus the van plus the kids and dogs from Perth to home so we can only use the sedan for that trip. -

It's a sedan and there are three kids. Don't think the dogs would be very happy in the boot :p -
Dogs Travelling In Caravan?

I considered the same thing but also thought it was probably not much different to a dog trailer in reality. We are experienced at towing and it will only be a smaller van for travelling as opposed to a home on wheels type van. Unfortunately it's that or they have to be kenneled for weeks on end and they would find kenneling rather distressing I think. -
Another idea is that you can get the plastic backed picnic rugs pretty cheaply at places like kmart, etc. Just use some heavy duty pins to pin some ribbon at the top to hold it around the headrests

Here you go, this is the guy. he custom makes them so if you tell him what you need he'll give you a quote. https://www.facebook.com/JustinsDogKennelsAndAnimalYards

Otherwise talk to the shed place in sth nowra, they will custom make things too
-
There's a guy down here somewhere Rainy that makes them, have seen him on the local buy and sells. I think he welds them but I'm sure he could make a bolt together version without any trouble.

Has anyone travelled with their dog actually travelling in the caravan? We are looking at buying a caravan later in the year and going on family holidays but we don't always have space for kids and dogs in the car so i was thinking about modifying the van so that there was a secure crate area under one of the bench seats/beds for the dogs to travel in and also installing extra ventilation, etc. as well as a video monitor to keep an eye on them. Has anyone done something like this or have any other suggestions?

There are some sellers in WA. Unfortunately not that cheap but you could message them and see if they can post straight away for you or pick up if they aren't too far. This one looks really good(located in Welshpool) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/back-Rear-Car-Seat-Pet-Dog-cat-Safety-Travel-Hammock-Cover-Mat-Blanket-orange-pu-/360972559203?pt=AU_Pet_Supplies&var=&hash=item540ba42363
