  1. Definitely go and try them on first. I own 4 different harnesses and none of them fit my basset as well as I would like due to chest breadth.
  2. They usually try to fish for information first on where the person lives so they can say the pup is located a long way elsewhere, therefore necessitating shipping.
  3. Pretty much anything selling expensive uncommon birds like macaws and african greys or offering very uncommon/expensive breeds for too good to be true prices is a scam. Sadly people still get sucked in...
  4. Wonderful. Glad to hear that there will be a little positive that comes from you very sad loss.
  5. Very sad I have seen posts like this on dog show gossip facebook page that have been able to help people out, if you are on facebook maybe post there.. https://www.facebook.com/groups/341481425963516/
  6. I love the bones and balls design that weatherbeeta has just released. My dog won't wear anything that goes under her chest anyway
  7. Sounds like an add in my local buy sell recently asking for something to the effect of, "Want to buy female dalmation puppies and male german shepherd puppies'. Note the plurals on both of those, I can only imagine they are planning some sort of fluffy, spotty dog.
  8. Yep, the g/litre is the same so just google what the appropriate number of mililitres is for a dog that size and use a syringe to measure it out if the tubes don't work out nicely for you
  9. Airebis Samoyeds had a litter born 8 feb 2013. Might be a start for you
  10. Love your denim seat CC! (and the dogs are pretty cute too ;) )
  11. Don't you know Perth is where all the unknown Kardashians hide out. :p Best of luck with the separation anxiety.
  12. As staffyluv has done we just be careful. You can't let it rule your life or you'd go nuts. She's young now but eventually she'll be old enough to want to go out with her friends and we won't be there to keep an eye on her then.
  13. Wow, that really does take things to a whole higher level of stupid doesn't it.
  14. Can you put mesh over a section of the yard to keep bees out? I have a daughter who is ana to bees and other things we do are to make sure the grass is always mowed low and kill off any clover and to not plant anything near any play areas that is bee attracting. Also water will attract them so hide the water somewhere not visible(under a table or in the kennel or something like that)
  15. Trent is being interviewed on sunrise this morning
  16. Usually they use the chicken maryland cut for that part of the show and then a few smaller bits for other tricks(well at least that's what I would supply when I was cutting the meat for the show and was what Nick, the owner, usually requested), not sure why the croc was getting that this time, looked more like a chicken breast, maybe being school holidays they were trying to use smaller pieces as the crocs do more shows than usual.
  17. haha, I've never thought to take a photo of Josie's but I do go everywhere with her with a bundle of tissues in my pocket specifically for the purposes of tidying her up every now and then. LOL
  18. Crocburgers aren't bad actually Powerlegs LOL
  19. Cody believe it or not, not everyone in the world has facebook. I never disputed him having surgery, i simply elaborated on the purpose of the surgery. Unless you have something nice to say maybe you should find something better to do with your time.
  20. Yes i just meant that he does need surgery but the repairs are more cosmetic than functional(he still has all his fingers and they are working well) and also that croc bites are dirty so need to be cleaned out well. I'm not arguing with you Cody, the people involved in this are people who I know personally and care about. Poochmad my thinking is that he was already filming through the camera when it happened and might not have even thought to drop his camera hand in that moment, you notice he does drop his hand when he runs around to the front of the tank and only lifts it momentarily again when Trent gets out at the end.
  21. Don't worry Trisven I know what you are getting at LOL I also don't thin my hound has been hard to train but I think that for some sorts of hounds you have a different kind of expectation in what you can expect from them(the same with all breeds really). I don't expect my hound to be an obedience champion but I had no trouble teaching her the house rules and that's all I really wanted.
  22. There is a video here of the actual moment that Trent got grabbed and dragged in to the water. If you don't have a good stomach maybe don't watch but it's pretty amazing how well Trent handled the whole thing, getting out of the water and telling the crowd he was OK and to calm down! https://au.news.yahoo.com/nsw/a/24414152/moment-croc-attacked-handler/
