Hi Sheena l wean all my puppies straight onto Black Hawk Adult formula. l dont use the puppy as l have German Shepherds and as Emilee mentioned i dont want the rapid growth from puppy formula's. l also have Collies Rough & Smooth they to are weaned straight onto Adult. l dont adjust the amount, i use each & every dog as a guide to how much each needs as they are all different in metabolisum Hope this helps Regards Sherel

Hi skruffy n Flea Yes we are in the process of waiting on the arrival of sample bags for us to have a look at and see if they will be suitable. They are listed as a 3 kg bag but according to the bag manurfacturer they will hold upto 5 kg, they should be here any day this week, We hope to have the smaller bags up & running in the New Year Black Hawk is manurfactured every 6 to 8 weeks so its always fresh, Regards Sherel

Hi Nekhbet Thats great news looking forward to seeing them next time l deliver, There has been quiet a bit of feedback re ear odour and problems disappearing after being on Black Hawk, also people have noticed less doggy odour coming from their dogs. Here is a letter l received thought l would share TO whom it may concern, I own 2 dogs, 1 is an Australian Labradoodle who had constant ear problems, which I mentioned on Facebook after her last visit to the vet early this year. Sherel read my post on facebook and contacted me to ask what diet I did have my dog on, which was prepared dog meat rolls and a well advertised brand of dry dog food from the supermarket. She explained that there are certain products that are not good for dogs and can cause yeast build ups especially in ears and I and the dogs would be better off on a diet of the holistic lamb and rice dry dog food and raw chicken mince. As I was not sure whether my dogs would like the dry dog food, Sherel arranged for a sample to be given to me to try. After my dog’s approval, I contacted Sherel to arrange to purchase a bag. Sherel offered to drop off to my home and meet my dogs. Whilst dropping off the product Sherel met my Alaskan Malamute, who has always had a skin complaint which made her stomach skin look like black elephant skin, she would constantly lick at it. I have had different medicated washes but none seemed to ease or settle the complaint. Sherel suggested that with her diet also changing this may well help ease the malamute’s problem. Since changing both my dog’s to the Holistic Lamb & Rice dry dog food, I have noticed fantastic results, the Australian Labradoodle has not had a re-occurrence of her ear problem and the Alaskan malamute has finally gotten normal skin returning to her stomach and even hair is starting to regrow. Her actual coat is also looking healthier. The malamute does still lick now and then but nothing like she used to, all these changes I put down to the change of diet and Sherel’s knowledge for what is good for dogs and willingness to help both owners and dogs. Hi Mokhahouse it was lovely meeting you on Sunday at Big day out, l love catching up with our past rescues LOL you be careful leaving the Black Hawk around, l recieved an e-mail from a lady she asked her husband to get the bag of Black Hawk out of the car and bring it in, he got side tracked and put it on the roof of the car and forgot about it until they found their dog on the roof of the car happily munching away on Black Hawk after ripping the bag open. You are right l wholeheartedly believe in Black Hawk, Nothing to do with the fact l sell it, l used it for 2 years without selling it, it was for the health benefits of my own dogs, only when people started to ask what l feed and ask if they to could buy it, did the word get around. Only recently has it been advertised only on DOL, From the interest generated from this forum Black Hawk has become extremely popular, the feedback l get from people who's dogs had health issues has been amazing and extremely pleasing for me to hear. Thank you to everyone who have requested a sample & tried Black Hawk and continue to use and believe in Black Hawk as someone wrote the proof is in the pudding l do try and answer everyones questions but with christmas coming up its now a busy time for me. and its always best to email me at [email protected] Regards Sherel This thread is about an excellent quality locally australian made food, so Im not sure I understand your post?? Did I miss something?? Can't say if you missed anything (but I'm hoping I missed your friendly tone as I can't see it................I never commented on the quality of this food so unsure why your comment was necessary??). I think that while this thread may have been initiated about Black Hawk, alot of issues have been covered including the transparency expected by consumers. My comment was meant to reflect that it shouldn't be hard for a manufacturer or distributor to say where their ingredients are from. In fact, Sherel has stated that she believes in this product wholeheartedly (as she should if she sells it!) and I would think that based on that, it shouldn't be hard to answer people's questions. At any rate, I think she WILL answer them - she has just asked for patience. I will never understand why people think it is OK to attack people, businesses or products on the internet when they wouldn't do it face to face. Cheers.

Hi Anypie We had another dog do similar to yours but it turned out she was dropping coat and it was the same only been on it a week, anyway she had her coat drop and a lovely new coat came back, if you are able to try it for at least 3 weeks and see. All the feed back is good thanks Sherel
