You also have a Greyhound person in in Western Vic who first posted on Greyound Data, there is also a Naturopath in Western Vic using it on his Greyhounds and also a Greyhound trainer of 40years in Eastern vic, actually there is two down there Oh and one in perth who has been in constant contact with me l feed all mine dry, l am not sure how these above guys feed it Regards Sherel I know one greyhound trainer feeding it, although he is feeding it only to his frenchies and pugs, not his greyhound broodie - she is on cheaper food. And greyhound trainers tend to fed kibble as part of "slop" - totally soaked/drowned in water and with raw meat, supplements etc. I like to feed it dry - hence the gagging. Unfortunate that I can't feed it as it seemd quite ok. annie

Hi Gretel While you shouldnt have the odd pieces in there and will notify the manufacturer, the pieces are from the export range and is pressed into that shape due to the country its being shipped to wont use round kibble, l know its weird but they wont, there are some strange requests. Hi S- Edmonds No there is an Adult formula A puppy Formula and a Feline formula Regards Sherel One more question regarding this product.... As Previously stated my dog absolutely loves this product, and further research has revealed that it is a puppy formula, and that there is no adult formula. Is this correct? Does this simply mean that I need to feed less?? Or is there an adult one that I cant find on the internet.

Hi AnnieK Lovely to hear your dog liked it but sorry they gagged on it. Black Hawk is fed to a range of breeds from my own 2 rescue Chi's through to my Collies Rough & Smooth and my German Shepherds, At first there was a couple of people wo mentioned the size of the kibble, but all 3 have come back saying they are glad its the size it is as they all had dogs that scoffed their foods one Labrador lady in particular is happy that her boy tried to inhale it but alot falls out the sides so hence he doesnt cough and splutter, There is also a few Great Dane people and St Bernard people very happy and Black Hawk Holistic has just hit the Greyhound racing world and so far all good, Sherel It is small, I have Danes so thought this may be a problem.....no problem. mmm well I (they) liked the sample I was sent, but tended to gag on it, so have moved on to Canidae.

Hi Everyone Thank you for all your imput. Dont worry the current Black Hawk Holistic Lamb & Rice formula wont change. Down the track after adding a Lite formula, l thought about adding another meat flavour, and was just interested in what people would prefer when the time comes. And also thought there maybe other things people might like to see added, in the way of herbs, vitamins minerals etc. Its something l want to think about and research before, Regards Sherel

Hi AMS Just to let you know Shar Pei Rescue in Vic are currently trialling another formula for Black Hawk which we are hoping will suit Rescue shar Pei's, These Shar Pei's have not had BLack Hawk Holistic the current formula as Vic Shari Pei Rescue wanted a lower protein for shar Pei fever, l am hoping this formula will suit the shar Pei's must be aweful for them re skin issue's, so far reports have been good although is only been a week.
