It's always baffled me (not hard) that dogs need vaccinating every year whereas children only rarely.

Our little Chi scratches herself silly. There are no hotspots and no fleas. When she first came to us she had a dreadful flea allergy and hardly any hair. Do you think this scratching has become a habit?

Sasha passed away today. I am just about to bury her. Poor old girl was 17. Another who forgot to wake up. RIP old lady. Run with the angels and take care of little Josey for me.

Another hole in my heart.

I can't believe she isn't here. Josey was my first little dog and what a wonderful little dog!

My little princess went to sleep this morning and forgot to wake up. Sweet dreams Josey - Jane. Another angel.

Here is Lupi looking for more food, except she is blind.

Can I enter Lupi. She is senile and will eat and eat and eat because she forgot she already had some.

Right now I have a 16 year old Silky asleep in a crate. In another there is a twelve month old Staffy cross. A shihtzu and a JRx are sharing a crate and an elderly Foxy is in another. I haven't had any of these dogs since puppies, the Silky has been trained to use her crate in the past 10 months. They line up to go in and sometimes we have to chuck a couple out when it gets too crowded. It isn't cruel. My Border Collie pup is crate trained. Good for night times and travelling.

Mel that's terrible. I am another paranoid GSD owner whe it comes to bloat. I'm glad she's almost fully recovered.

I have a 16 year old Lab who was overweight. She was used to living in a nursing home and sharing all the cuppas and bikkies. Cut down her food and now we have a dog that runs, albeit slowly, to keep up with the others. She has arthritis and Sasha's Blend helped her.

I feed Coprice occassionally and have never had any problems with it in either the Shepherds or the Lab or anyone else.

Feed morning and night. Two smaller meals. Easy when there is a litter of puppies here too, everyone gets fed so I don't have to do hard maths early in morning. They get fed at around 6am and 5pm.

What a beautiful girl. Now running free.

Bonnie Lite is a good quality kibble. It took the lard off the Labrador. Also added grated carrot.

Harminee I love that picture. That was his whole demeanor.... "What the..." He is on his hill forever watching over the valley and his goats.

The black boofhead went over the bridge today. No more silly Staffy grin, no more leg-breaking tail wagging. No more snoring. RIP Roady... chase the rabbits.

How exactly do you clip a poodle? I take it the Rozzie special the Maltese, Silky and whatever other poor sods are in clipper distance would not do.... I really didn't mean to get the Belgian... Guess if I really bugger Louis up it's only two weeks between a bad haircut and a good one.
