My Coolie bitch is in season. She started last Wednesday. This is the first time having a bitch in season, as I wanted to wait to spay her at 12 months. She is 11 months now. How long does she need to be kept in the run for? She is being very good about her enforced isolation, so no issues there. Thanks

We brought home littermates. He was mine and she was Mr R's. No dramas. They were GSDs and we couldn't have asked for a more balanced pair of dogs.

My OH's old GSD used to climb trees after birds. She was also great with the chooks and the magpies.

I'd certainly have to stock train her if we lived in different circumstances or if we ever decided to get chickens. The keeping of rabbits or guinea pigs is out too, she goes silly over those, any small animal and she goes goggle eyed. She's a Shih tzu... she already is
