  2. So sorry to hear about your very sad loss of Folly, unexpectedly. I too lost a beautiful Frenchie girl, some years ago now, same age as your girl, she had been for her walk in the morning, gave her her dinner, and she too was dead by her plate, it was such a shock as she was a real fit little girl, yes Dazzle I am always thinking of you. Fly with the angels Folly they will escort you to the
  3. I use Heartgard plus covers heart and intestinal worms. have used it for years and never had a problem. I do not need to use flea protection, as where I live there are no fleas, as it is hard compacted clay soil, and they do not survive. The dogs that I have here would not know what a flea was. Where I lived previously, near a beach, the fleas were incredible, and I used Sentinel then. Had to use a flea bomb as well in the kennels. Thank God for clay soil.
  4. :D :p RIP precious Sheltie baby and run free at the It sounds like a wonderful place and say Hi to all my darling Frenchie babies that are there waiting patiently :D :p
  5. I would say that it is an allergy. It could be enviromental, such as grasses where she goes for walks, or around your yard. The worst allergy I feel is food allergy. I do not feed any commercial food to my dogs, all fresh meat veg, and homemade dog bisuits, so I know what is going into them.
  6. ;) Dear little man, what an age he lived too, my sums tell me he was 17. So glad that he found such a wonderful home for the last six years with your friends. Run free and pain free dear little man at the :D he will be waiting for your friends there, where once again they will be together for eternity.
  7. For Perry good on ya girl, you have proved that nasty person wrong, and what a beautiful girl you look.

    Brodie

If I can see the keyboard, I want to thank you Crysti for sharing the tragedy of four years without you in her life and the ectasy of the two years you were in it. Our fur babies are so forgiving and a big thankyou for making her last two years so wonderful, she and you were truly blessed. I do not know why I come to this thread, as I always end up bawling as I am now. God speed beautiful Brodie and watch over your loving Mummy and Daddy as they try to come to terms with their incredible loss. Run free beautiful girl at the Love from Pat and the Mjosa Frenchies.
  9. I have posted before, and know what you mean about a special place. Where all my beautiful Frenchie babies are, I have planted the beautiful rose by the name of Spirit of Peace, there their mortal bodies are surrounded by this wonderful pale apricot rose, with the most glorious perfume. Thought I would share this with you, and I am sure that there is a very special place, apart from in your heart, for beautiful Jye.
  10. :D ;) So sorry to hear about your baby. It leaves a big gaping hole in your life when they go on their next journey. Brodie you are now free of pain, watch over your poor Mum from the
  11. To you Mel, so sorry to hear about Jye, he along with the other eleven you named will be looking down on you, how lucky are you with all those wonderful angels. You did the right thing, and as I write this, my dear old lady, has not been so well for the past few days, and I hope that I am as brave as you, to make that decision when the time is right, I have done it before and I know I will do it again, she has many Frenchie angels of mine waiting for her to come. RIP Jye you are now free at the
  12. What a beautiful girl Elka is. Do not worry all will be well, I have positive feelings about it. all. My young bitch, Macey, at four months of age fell off a chair, she was just learning to jump up, she fell awkwardly and tore the growth ligament in her right hind leg, and she could not put the leg to the ground, I was mortified, as OH was supposed to be watching out for her as I was at Gen Spec at the Royal, he took her o the Vet she was given pain killers and had to be confined to the trolley. The upshot of this Xrays and more Xrays, then a big operation to put pins in the knee area, five weeks of confinement nearly drove her and me mad, then another op to take the pins out, now four months down the track it is as if it never happened, and I am sure that this is how it will be with your beloved Elka. Sending positive thoughts to you.
  13. So sorry to hear of your poor furbaby's sudden death. I hope that in the future you will open your heart and arms to another puppy, as you certainly are the wonderful caring people that a puppy deserves. Play painfree with all of our beloved kids who have gone before us, I know that they will look after you little Lab baby
  14. I had friends with Bulldogs many years ago, and they had a couple who suffered with sore feet, and with the constant licking they began to bleed, spent many dollars at the vet trying this that and the other, then they decided to go to a health shop and they recommended paw-paw ointment, it did the trick for their dogs, so as soon as they saw the problem they would treat their feet with this. I believe it was not very expensive.
  15. What a grand old lady, I am sure that you are all going to miss her, but she is well and free to run with all the fur babies at the
  16. What beautiful words for a beautiful girl, sorry she had that dreaded C that cut her life short and your time with her. She is now your special angel, it is so hard, it is like a spear in the heart when we lose one of our trusted and loyal friends, just cry a little, then smile at all the wonderful memories of your precious time together. Run free beautiful Chilly, you are whole again and you have many of our loved ones to play with at the
  17. My dogs are fed Optimum, and their coats and skin are in great nick since I started using it when it came on the market. It is not cheap for the 4kg bag as far as supermarket kibble is concerned, but it is worth the difference. When I have a litter of puppies, they are fed with Advance puppy rehydratable, and they do well on that.
  18. To you Malinda, dogs are a gift from God, and that is why he reversed his name when it came to giving a description for our wonderful companions, dog is god reversed, and so fitting. The wonder of a dog is they never question us, and do not care if we are rich or poor, they give us unconditional love, what more can we ask for. Bandit look down on Malinda and be with her as you always have been her soulmate and she needs to know that you are always there no matter what, and she has you in her heart. Run free dear Bandit at the
  19. I am sure that that sweet sweet "baby" knew he was loved and cared for, albeit for a short time in his life, and he will be guiding you the next time. he is an  on your shoulder now, and is happy with all the other fur babies gone before to the

    Mabel

So sorry to hear about Mabel. What I have read about this tick is terrible, fortunately it is one thing we do not have to contend with where I live. to you and Dublin, and may Mabel find all wonderful new friends, who were waiting for her at the

  23. Oh God no, I was so hoping that Tasha would make it home safe and sound, what a terrible thing to lose two beautiful babies, my heart goes out to you and your family, fourlegged ones and all. She is now safe with her pal, he must have wanted her for company at the

    Tessa

;) Me too. My son and his wife had the most beautiful Rottie girl back in the '80's, the gentlest and most loving girl, when she was five she was diagnosed with the big C in her left hind leg, the vet said that if he took the leg off she would be OK. Not so, it travelled to her spine and six weeks after her op she too passed away in her sleep, so I reckon your Tess and their Bow are now romping at the together having a wonderful time :D ;)
