Happy Birthday Dodge, hope that they give you a wonderful party with all the doggie goodies you could wish for. ReXy, I can understand your sorrow today, I remember all my fur babies on their birthdays, the first one is the hardest and then their anniversary of going to the but as the years go by, the memories become warm and fuzzy and you remember all the wonderful moments that you spent together, and thank God for those precious moments. After all DOG is GOD backwards, because as he was naming all the creatures of the world he ran out of names when he got to our fur babies and said I know I will spell my name backwards as these are very very special creatures. :D  to you.

I have three types of crates. 1 Domestic airline freight crate, which is used just for that. 2 Wire crates to do crate training and this is where my dogs sleep at night, in their wire crates, and I have made covers to cover them at night. 3 Is a waterproof canvas collapsable dome, has its own carry case when not in use, as seen on Pet network website, this is what I transport my dogs in the car to shows, no damage to the car interior. They are not cheap, I have the intermediate size, which fits two French Bulldogs comfortably. It cost me $191

Possible Hot Spot?... Worst Place....
Mjosa replied to wolf82's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I always keep two things on hand for abrasions no matter where one I got from the vet Neotopic lotion, but if the wound is a bit mucky I have an antispetic powder called Medipulv, get it from the chemist, and it heal/drys the infected area within 48 hours. Neotopic I use on anything that is not "mucky" looking, eg and out and out cut. -
My sincere sympathy to the Hutchison family on the loss of their beautiful fur baby. Run free at the rainbow bridge

Frenchies are the same, and in this cold weather they are not ON the bed, but down under the doona, how the hell they breath gets me

Missy you now have your wings so fly to the where you will be all young again, and run and play with all our fur babies waiting there. My sincere condolences to your parents, after 13 years it will take time to come to terms that she is no longer there. My old girl went to the bridge in February this year aged almost 12, a good age for a Frenchie, and to this day when I am getting dinner ready for the other "kids" I sometimes find myself getting that extra plate out and I :p  I miss that grumpy old lady.

I would get a tube of Nutrigel from your vet, this is a appetite stimulant, and I have not yet met a dog that does not like it, tempted to take some myself it smells so yummy lol This is full of protien and vitamins that a dog would normally get from a balanced diet. But I see you have and ar going this evening to the vet with her, so ask about the \Nutrigel At least she is not getting dehydrated, as she is drinking. Hope that all goes well.

:D :D What a darling baby, take your wings and fly where there are no nasty people who would not give you a chance, be happy with all our furbabies at the Don't these stupid people who make these infernal rules realise that a dog is not born mean and nasty, it is the human in charge that shapes the way a dog behaves. It makes me :D

Hi, That sounds fine to me the amount that he is taking. As long as he is gaining weight and sleeping between feeds you are doing the right thing for him. If he was not getting enough he would be restless and crying. I do not know what formula you are using, I usually use Divetalac, just follow the instructions on the packaging, because as they get older they require the strength of the milk to be made a little stronger as they get older. Best of luck with this baby.

Take your gossamer wings Winter and fly free and all brand new again to the and yes if you need to have a snuggle up for a big snore also look up all my Frenchie kids that are waiting there.

Oh Cordy bless her heart, it made me to look at her before pic (how could anyone treat a beautiful baby like that) and to see the transformation, what an absolute darling. Fly on your angel wings Shelby, and keep a close watch over your human family, while your run free at the

I would contact the breeder if you are concerned as to the amount the baby should be fed. I am surprised that the breeder of your puppy did not give you a diet chart on their feeding regime, with suggestions of what has been fed since weaning, and also explain how to increase the amount fed as the puppy grows.

If I have to give my dogs a tablet I crush it up and mix with a teaspoon of honey, well they go absolutely crazy for their tablet as the song goes a teaspoon of sugar (in my case honey) makes the medicine go down. ;)

Hi, I know your dilema the first time is always the hardest, mine was about 35 years ago. Watch your bitch keep her at her peak, usually about the third day the milk will really start to come down and she could act a bit frantic, her udder will become hard and lumpy and what I do is I get warm flannels, wet, get her on her back and keep on putting the warm flannels over the udder until it becomes supple, this will help to prevent mastitis, and do this continually until everything settles down. By "milking" the bitch only stimulates nipples that are not required for such a small litter. With only two puppies I would not be allowing them to run up and down the udder, I would chose the four best milk producing nipples and confine them to them, as if they do not stimulate the remaining nipples they only produce very little and nothing to worry about them getting hard and possible mastitis forming in them, as they can only drink so much. Feeding once an hour is not over the top, if the pups are in with the dam at all times they go and drink when the need arises. Have you got Sandoz to give to your bitch? this also prevents milk fever. Congratulations on your new babies and I hope this helps.

:D I really feel for you, and know that we are here for you, and it does not matter how long your post is. I went through this devastating situation in February, when my dear old girl Mia went to the bridge, it hurts like hell and life does not seem the same. Even to this day, when I am getting my other dogs their dinner, I pull out that fifth plate, look at it and burst into for that was Mia's plate, my dear old girl was going on for 11 1/2 years. Miss her like you would not believe. Hopefully your Cass has found Cassie the Lab and Mia the French Bulldog at the
