I haven't shared yet, but that's because I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to editing. I just play around until I get the look I want, I don't usually remember how I got there. Mostly I just use a free program called Photoscape and I'm starting to use Lightroom more. I have no idea how to use PS ;) Here is one I edited quite a bit, mostly in Photoscape. I auto-levelled everything, cropped it, desaturated it, warmed it up with a sepia colour, reduced the contrast a bit and added the AGFA filter. I think that's it. This is a more recent one, I didn't do much at all to it (and I can't really remember what I did, except upping the red slider, increasing the blacks and sharpening). It was all done in Lightroom. As for sharing details of what was done to a photo - I personally don't mind. Good luck if someone wants to copy me :D But I completely understand if someone doesn't want to share their secrets step-by-step. I have my own small business making kids clothes and if someone copied my pattern, I would be cranky.

I'll be honest and admit first thing I thought was 'hanging' legs. Stupid morbid past employment Nah, I thought that also It's only because I asked Rocco aaaaaaaages ago how she did it (yes, I thought she had suspended herself somehow :D) that I know it's jumping legs, not hanging legs.

It looks good Serena, I like it with a bit more colour

An early one for us this week too: 23/52 -

Yay! Did you do some re-editing of the one of us? It looks brighter. Scary jumping legs did well!

Lovely Echo. We have had a really full on week of renovating and moving. I'm not happy with this, but I don't have any time left!

I have a pug and a pug x gsd, so it's baaaaaaad all year round. I wear mostly black and end up covered in it. My friends know where the little sticky roller thing lives, so they can de-fur themselves People are always suprised at the amount of coat that my dogs drop:

I was just coming in to say the same thing. The colours are gorgeous! It reminds me of something... but I'm not sure what.

Always manual on the DSLR. Auto on the Lumix most of the time, but there isn't a whole lot of control over the settings.

I am so sorry Baif :D

More Photos For Feedback If Dolers Don't Mind
huga replied to FranVT's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
Being a black dog, Luuka is going to be a bit of a challenge. The light will be better early in the morning or later in the afternoon. I made myself never use the dslr on auto. If you throw yourself into the the deepend with manual, you will learn very quickly what settings to use -
I haven't even bought my camera yet, but that's the lens I want Have fun and post pics

Maybe red frills on your hotpants too.... Yes! I learnt how to sew frills this week. I'm all over it.

Do it. I want to see the stockings Red and black are my favourite colours, so should definitely be our team colours. Even my hair and tattoos will match
-
Cute Bec We must need warming up - we've both got a bit of red happening!

Oh and the camera I'm using has a tendency to make things greenish too
-
Thank you PP. I understand what you're trying to say Ok, mostly I use a free program called Photoscape because I can't use Photoshop Sometimes pics turn out ok using it, sometimes they don't. There isn't a whole lot of control like there is with the better programs. If you download Photoscape, there is a drop down menu of effects and I often use the AGFA effect. It tints it greenish though, so I often will counteract that with some warmer tones. I don't like things too contrasty, so I often reduce that also. Just have a play, it's fun. With the legs pic, I actually made friends with Lightroom, which I don't often do. I kept my legs red by upping the little red slider and pretty much leaving everything else as is.

Rocco and I went to the roller derby on the weekend. I've become slightly obsessed with the whole concept (if I had roller skates, I'd be wearing them in this pic): 20/52:

Congratulations Ravyk. I'm totally jealous Still trying to save here, but it keeps getting eaten up by other things.
