Screw it. Just ordered this one: After yesterday I needed some retail therapy.

Mine arrived today and I love it! I'll get some photos later but the quick look so far has really impressed me. It's really well made and funky. Can't wait to see it! Glad you like it

Thank you all so much for your kind words, it really means a lot to me to read that other people 'knew' him - even via a dog forum.

This afternoon we made the really difficult decision to put Harry to sleep. Recently he'd had a few incidences of completely out of character aggressive behaviour, which may have been due to a neurological problem. He had some neck pain and his pupils weren't reacting equally to light. My heart is breaking. I feel so guilty. I'm so sorry big guy. I held you as you went so peacefully and so oblivious. I'm still covered in your fur and for once I'm not brushing it off. You were eight years old, but we always assumed you'd live forever because you were so active and more than a little bit mad. I don't know how Lola is going to cope.

44/52: I don't think I'll do 52 Weeks of Lola next year. I am contemplating doing 52 Weeks of Grateful though

Argh, a challenging challenge  f/1.4:

Hahahaha! How did you know that Ainslie was coming next? You'd like her Huga, she has a pug and a german shepherd and she used to breed and show Am Staffs. Gotta love the doggy people!! I already thought she was awesome and now I have a bit of a crush on her (because of the pug thing, obviously). This shot takes my breath away: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wildspirit/5022563590/

Kelly Munce is awesome. I love the one of the little boy with the indian headpiece on and the red wagon. Ainslie (Wild Spirit) is also super talented. A couple of her images are finalists in the Canon comp. http://www.flickr.com/photos/wildspirit/

Oh, in that case it's easy There's a little icon in the top right hand corner that says 'EXIF'. Just click on it and it will display everything.
-
KK - what program do you use for editing? Most of them allow you to see the EXIF data.
-
Yeah, she's cool. She runs workshops too.

That second one is cute, he looks like he's wearing a toupee

Not a fault, but not common - Apricot Pug: I also found a white: And chocolate: This one is apparently silver: I'm not entirely sure all of them are pugs though

I don't mean to sound bitter, but... I wasn't all that impressed. I know a couple of the finalists through a Flickr group and they are awesome, but most of them are... I don't know... Not what I was expecting maybe.

Finalists are up: http://www.canon.com.au/worldofeos/photo5/winners/

how much is it to buy? I have no idea at the moment. I know it's a good time to buy because the AUD is so strong. You can download the trial for 30 days Anne - no idea how all that works, sorry.

You should have a play with LR! All I do is play with the sliders until the photo resembles something I like It's easy.

Thank you. Everything goes through Lightroom. I'm not great with Photoshop, so only really use it occassionally to add texture. Editing is my weak point and I'm trying to improve it.
