  1. 023/365: Grateful for... Witnessing precious moments. Sometimes, watching Brian with the boys is enough to bring tears to my eyes. So special.
  2. CM - all of those Texas shots made me smile. Day 023:
  3. 022/365 Grateful for... The coolest pug ever. I love my Lola. She is totally laid back, excellent with the boys and just easy to have around. Last year, she was the focus of my 52 Weeks project and as a result, she is getting better at doing what she is told when I have the camera. She actually gets excited when she sees it, because it means treats. Today's was salami. She was a fan.
  4. Cute Nik  Love the backdrop.
  5. Oh, I suck at moving things. Nice conversion too, I think it's the same one I've been using a lot. I love that slightly chocolate-y feel, without being OTT sepia.
  6. This is so lovely Bec. Just gorgeous. Is that with the 70-200?
  7. 021/365 Grateful for... Paper and pens.
  8. I can feel the relief in day 20, Nik! Day 021:
  9. Hmmm, it's fine in IE for me. So maybe something funny is just going on with yours. I hope! I used Pro Photo
  10. Thanks girls. Yeah tlc, I go through hair colours fairly often, I always end up back at blonde though.
  11. Damn. I tried to keep file sizes small too. I guess that's going to be the case with the slideshow type of header though. Oh Clyde, that's only because they are at home with me all the time, so I need to keep them amused. It's really not that exciting. Ollie keeps asking when he can go to school Did you change the top moving banner? The quality seems to be alot lower when I just looked at it. THe pictures below on the blog are fine, but the tops ones show up pixelated on my screen. No, I haven't changed them at all What browser are you using Wags?
  12. 020/365 Grateful for... A half decent self portrait. Hats off to photographers that can nail a selfie. Seriously. I am awful at them. I can never get the focus right, my hair goes crazy (see above) and I always have weird expressions on my face. I needed one for the 'about' section of my blog and this was the winner. Fun fact: This is the first time I've ever worn lipstick. But I figured since I'm pushing thirty, I best get my grown up face on.
  13. Thanks Aziah I'm really cranky at myself, because it's not as sharp as it should be There are a couple more on my blog (linky in my sig).
  14. Ooh, I might be able to get to this one!
  15. *cue posts about degrading dogs* This one doesn't really count. but it's cute and practical
  16. Thanks Yep, Ed wears his amber necklace all the time. It's kind of a weird hippy thing, but it works for us, so I keep it on him. This is the theory (in very basic terms) - amber is a resin, not a stone and when worn against the skin it heats up and oils leech out and are absorbed by the skin. These oils have sedative and anti-inflammatory properties, which is why amber helps with teething. Now, Ed had most of his teeth when we bought it, but he has a problem with his wee - the pH is wrong, it's very acidic (no one can explain why) and it was burning him. So we gave away the cloth nappies and he now has Ural in his water to neutralise the acid. But even after that, he was still waking through the night whenever he did a wee and was generally a sore and cranky baby. The first night we put the necklace on - he slept through. That was the first night in six months. And he has been so much better ever since. Please excuse the tangent :D I know lots of people that have changed babies after they start wearing amber, it's good stuff My mum has an amber bracelet now too - for arthritis.
  17. Grateful for... His new love of hats. It's been difficult to keep a hat on Ed's head - until now. Now whenever he sees a hat, he has to try it on. It's very cute (and sun smart!).
  18. Jebus DSO - this is the second time we've channeled each other! Day 19
  19. 018/365 Grateful for... Summer storms. Even though more rain is probably the last thing we need right now, today it was welcome. It was around 35 degrees and the sudden drop in temperature was a relief.
  20. Ravyk - that last one is pretty special.
