Ash is fine as far as I know - just busy

Thanks! I used my 85mm 1.8 for that one. Do you like it? That's what I have in mind for my next lens.
-
Nice work again, Nik. What lens are you using? Day 031/365 Grateful for... Snoozing kids. I don't think there's a sight that melts my heart more.

Grateful for a freshly mowed yard I have been putting the 'grateful for...' part in the 365 thread because I am too lazy to post it twice.

That's impressive TD! 029/365: Grateful for... A freshly mowed yard.

I only have prime lenses. I love them

We were laughing about that lastnight! Blondes in black. I'm on the left, my best friend is in the middle and her roomate (also a good friend of mine) is on the right. I used to be the only blonde, but the other girls have taken the plunge lately. My best friend and I often get asked if we are sisters. I think if you hang out with someone enough, you end up looking like them. I wish I looked more like her - she is tiny and gorgeous!

Yes, we had the problem. Harry started attacking Lola, the dog who he had lived with without a drama for 7 years. He also growled at my husband and I - all for no apparent reason. It had never happened before. I took him to the vet, he had neck pain and a pupil that was slow to react to light. I made the hard decision to PTS for a number of reasons - if I separated him, he would be miserable. I wasn't going to risk anything happening to my kids or to Lola. He wasn't himself anymore, so I had doubts about his quality of life. We could have investigated further, but the outcome was unlikely to change. Good luck with him, it's a very difficult situation to be in.
-
I was also told this recently and it has made such a difference to the noise! I can't believe it.
-
Yeah, Nelson is only around 9kgs too. He shocked the vet because he showed absolutely no symptoms. Crazy little black dog. That's a good update from the vet

Oh no I hope she comes through it ok, CC. Try not to beat yourself up. Mum's little MS inhaled a 250g block of Whittakers Dark Chocolate (72%) last Easter. He bounced back really well

I generally shoot between 2.2 and 3.5 unless I'm doing group stuff. But even the focus point is still not that sharp, IYKWIM?
-
Mine are really soft too, Kirislin - compared to others. Drives me nuts, I just can't quite get it. I've noticed the ones from my 24mm and 105mm are generally a lot sharper though. My 50mm just doesn't have the same quality.

Alas I do not *wants Mac so bad* Oh, sorry! I thought you had one! Yes, I am ready to join the cult too :D

I guess I should figure out how to do it in PS too. Carebear, it's really easy in LR, it's just an export setting. Here is the tutorial: http://www.digital-photography-school.com/...-in-lightroom-3

Since I'm not doing 52 Weeks of Lola this year, she's been enjoying her time away from the spotlight. Until today! Mwahahahahaha.... Open Shut them Checking out the magpies: Absorbing some Vitamin D:

Ok, an action selfie You have skillz, Nik. 024/365: Grateful for... That last cuppa of the day. It's a ritual, maybe a habit, but oh so delicious. 025/365 Grateful for... Ed's long sleeps. Ed still has some epic lunch time sleeps and Ollie's are shrinking. So I use this time to hang out with Ollie before Cyclone Eddie wakes up. Sometimes we draw, sometimes we read and sometimes we just snuggle in front of the tv.
