  1. He's a (extreme) pied Frenchie And yeah, the boys are excited. Well, Ollie is. He got to have a cuddle at the breeder's house the other day and has been asking 'Can we go and see Lola's puppy?' ever since  Ed is a bit too young to get the whole concept. Here are some more pics:
  2. Thank you! He is six weeks old and will come home at around 12 weeks. I'm so excited!
  3. Squeeee is correct  A certain someone else is also getting a puppy at almost the same time as me. She is also a photographer
  4. I only just made it. But yeah, more excited than a kid at Christmas
  5. Yeah, I knew a few people had trouble with the Canon versions. Thinking of upgrading, so was wondering if it was a Nikon thing too.
  6. Hey Kirislin, is the focus problem a Canon thing? Or across Canon and Nikon?
  7. Lola's been called a Mini Pug a few times, but that's a weird as it gets. They are an easily identifiable breed.
  8. I know, I keep looking back through the photos and squeeeing
  9. Some days I struggle, some days it's really just a point and shoot effort Today's is pretty awesome though 038/365: Grateful for... Empty dinner plates. 039/365: Grateful for... Frenchie puppies!
  10. You are getting some lovely sharp action shots, LL! Playing under the hose:
  11. Oh god, I wish that was me That's my favourite girl in the whole world. But I liked the movement too. I dragged the shutter to get it, it was taken at 1/20th.
  12. 036/365 Grateful for... The whole pre-going out, getting dressed, doing hair and make up routine with friends. Love it. 037/365 Grateful for... Giving poor, tired feet a rest from their high heeled prison after a big night out.
  13. Yes yes - up the ISO. I tend to use between ISO 600 and 800 outdoors if I am shooting moving things. And a nice quick SS. Agree about choosing the focal point too - don't let the camera decide.
  14. LL, I love my wide lens more than I ever thought I would. It's so handy! 035/365 Grateful for... Warm afternoon light
  15. Thanks I think it's nice to see 52 weeks all together.
  16. 034/365 Grateful for... Kids who actually enjoy brushing their teeth.
  17. This ties in with my grateful project too So today's simple pleasure... Brushing your teeth!
  18. 033/365 Grateful for... The air con. Like most other things in our house, it's quite erm... retro. But it works really well and that's all that counts.
  19. I like human names for my animals Lola, Harry, Fiona, Daphnne, Elvis and Bronte. When I was a kid, we had Bernie, Cora and Shelly. Next puppy with probably have a human name too.
  20. 032/365 Grateful for... Pineapple!
