Hey Kirislin, is the focus problem a Canon thing? Or across Canon and Nikon?

Lola's been called a Mini Pug a few times, but that's a weird as it gets. They are an easily identifiable breed.

Yes yes - up the ISO. I tend to use between ISO 600 and 800 outdoors if I am shooting moving things. And a nice quick SS. Agree about choosing the focal point too - don't let the camera decide.

I like human names for my animals Lola, Harry, Fiona, Daphnne, Elvis and Bronte. When I was a kid, we had Bernie, Cora and Shelly. Next puppy with probably have a human name too.
