Thank you ;) I visited my breeder out at a dog show, and stayed pretty much all night :D When I visited my puppy, I stayed around an hour and a half.

That's what I thought! I'll take it and if they check it and don't like it, I'll just put it in the car. It's only the Hi-fi, so hopefully they don't care.

Gorgeous Bec I'm going to a gig tonight and was wondering if I could take mine without arousing suspicion. Hmmm....

Your Experience With Registered Breeders
huga replied to aussielover's topic in General Dog Discussion
I'm on my way to getting my first puppy from a registered breeder and the experience has been awesome. She was recommended to me by a friend (who is also a breeder) and I am so glad I asked. I emailed her first, she phoned me the following day and we had a lovely chat and she invited me out to Durack to meet her and her dogs. She was super welcoming, didn't mind me hanging out in her tent all night, cuddling her dogs and even though she was in and out of the ring, she had time to answer my questions and have a chat. I was nervous about it at first, but she made me feel so welcome Since then, we have kept in contact, she told me when she was expecting a litter. So I emailed her a couple of weeks after the litter was due to let her know I was still interested and she has kept me in the loop with their progress. I went to visit my potential puppy earlier this week (kids in tow) and he was offered to me that day. I can't wait to get him and know I'll stay in contact with my breeder for a long time -
I've had his name picked out for a while too.

I absolutely suck at them, so only have a few: A couple with the P&S: A I think these were all with some sort of DSLR:

I'm not into it - I have enough trouble with a single shot It does get quite overdone.

I just did the sample pack to make sure I was happy with them. I LOVE that you can choose different pics so I can have dogs and bubbers. The mini ones look great LuvLottie just give in now it will happen later anyways So true!

He is gorgeous huga, i love frenchies. Hey are those 3 pups all from the same litter? I didnt think you would normally get that much variety of colours in the same litter? Just thought i'd join in this thread as I have a papillon puppy bitch coming over on saturday from Sydney and im so excited Yep, a litter of three - two brindles (1 light and 1 dark) and my pied dude. I'm pretty sure it's quite normal to get all that variation. Good luck with your new girl. I am super excited and thanks The next 6 weeks are going to drag.

If I call him Bert, Huski will smack me. And I have a friend that has claimed Ray. He's Sid anyway, I'm used to that now. Named after one of the kids from 'Skins'

They should be there really soon, considering how quickly mine got to me. They are coooool. Did you choose lots of different photos?

Switch to manual, or at least AV. Set the ISO and the aperture. Try around f5.6 as a starting point. Not sure, I'm too used to flat faces

I ordered the sample cards on the 17th of Jan and got them on the 1st of Feb (estimated delivery was the 14th of Feb). I ordered 100 of the mini cards on the 1st of Feb (because I was pretty impressed with the others) and am yet to receive them. ETA is the 2nd of March, but hopefully they get here early too.

You have a point. Maybe I should order another bag...

It has been suggested that he is wearing a beret, so he needs a French name (even though Frenchies are English). It has been suggested that he is wearing a yarmulke, so he needs a Jewish name. It has been suggested that he is wearing a toupee, so should be named Ray (Martin) or Bert (Newton). So, after all that, I have decided that his name will be.... Sid. No reason, I just like the name and have had it picked out for a while

Yeahhhhhh for new bags  I wanna see.

Yeah, the other person is in Bris too and it's also a squishy faced puppy Sorry, this is soooo OT
