  1. My desexed bitch marks just as much (if not more) than my desexed dog did
  2. Oooh, that's great news. Mine is off to the footy after work, so I'll have Sid to myself all night
  3. Oh Naomi, I had trouble sleeping lastnight  Tonight is going to be a killer! I am meeting his breeder at 10:15am tomorrow I just cleaned up the little crate and set up his playpen. All ready to roll.
  4. Thanks Nik! I'm happy with how they look. I like your ouchie Day 069 - 10.03.11 Grateful for... Two things today: (1) The girls at my local coffee shop. They are beautiful and look after me (and my boys!) every single time I am there and deserved to be recognised for it. (2) These gorgeous B&W presets that I won today. I'm in love.
  5. One sleep! Off to buy dog food this morning
  6. Yes, he is a Frenchie And yep, collars and leads out of the fun ribbon
  7. I like the lizard, LL Day 068 - 09.03.11 Grateful for... Packing up client orders and making them look pretty.
  8. On the right of my pic is a little soft koala with rope legs and arms that I got from Big W - no squeaker Check out how cute this ribbon is, I used it for his collars and leads:
  9. It's really hard, give yourself time to grieve. Even though you knew it was coming, it's still an entirely different thing when he's actually gone. There's a big empty space in your house and in your heart. That's how I felt with Harry, anyway. Look after yourself.
  10. I just saw this on Flickr. I am so, so sorry
  11. I like Baxter and Harvey Two sleeps! Here is my stockpile of puppy stuff:
  12. The car ones are awesome. And the image of his dog chasing the squirrel is perfect!
  13. You think you're puppy clucky now? Wait for the influx of photos!
  14. Day 066 - 07.03.11 Grateful for... Funky ribbon to make collars and leads for the new puppy. Day 067 - 08.03.11 Grateful for... Preparing for Sid You can see the ribbon from yesterday has been made into collars and leads.
  15. Ok, it is a touch soft and the colour is a bit blah. I have no experience with the Nikon you are talking about, but I am a Nikon girl My point and shoot is a Panasonic Lumix (TZ7) and it is a great little camera. That said, I know lots of people like the little Canons too. Kja has one of them (can't remember which one specifically). Anyway, here are some examples from the Lumix if you want to have a look: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lolapug/sets/72157625309702453/ ETA The ones at the end were taken in the dark and they are blurry and noisy. There isn't much that can be done about that though (without using the flash, which I am allergic to ).
  16. Wow, there are a few of us getting puppies on Friday. How exciting
  17. Can you describe the photos the Samsung took and what you like to change? Generally with cameras, you get what you pay for. Outside, in good light, you should be able to get a decent photo with a P&S. Indoors when it's darker (and without the flash), you will get some blurry, noisy photos.
  18. Yeah, he will look different. I haven't seen him since I took those pics. Apparently he has a lot more pigment now too. I can't stop thinking about Friday I'm like a kid at Christmas.
  19. That's awesome! We will be getting our pups on the very same day! I am definitely counting down the sleeps now. Very excited. I love all the new pics. SmoothieGirl, you are quite the handywoman!! I wish I was that clever. I just purchased a pen which I was sure an adult Aussie wouldn't be able to jump out of. Now I'm just paranoid someone will see my cute little pup when I'm at work and steal him. Anyone else have these fears? Woo hoo! Three sleeps What time is Archie coming home? We are picking Sid up first thing in the morning. I am paranoid about the stealing thing too, especially because so many Frenchies have been pinched lately. So Sid will be inside when we aren't here (and mostly inside when we are here too!). Luckily, I work from home, so we are here a lot. Perfect time to get a puppy
  20. Lightroom is much easier to get your head around than Photoshop. Another freebie that's user friendly is Photoscape.
  21. Day 064 - 05.03.11 Grateful for... Dramatic beach scenery. Day 065 - 06.03.11 Grateful for... Toy cars.
  22. Just got a phonecall. Sid is big enough to be desexed and will be coming home on Friday! That's a whole two weeks earlier than we initially thought!
  23. 062/365: Grateful for... Husbands that do the dishes. 063/365 Grateful for... Snuggly, puggly, rainy days.
  24. I'm really picky and with a Frenchie on the way, I don't think there is anything else I want to own :D
