  1. He is a great hot water bottle! This morning I took him out for a wee and then back to bed with me and he snuggled into my back and we slept for an hour and a half
  2. Daisy: 'Stern Beagle does not zoom.'
  3. Bertie was lovely I still think about her every now and then.
  4. I once fostered a lovely little female greyhound (she was young), who went in to be desexed and the vet found little testes inside her. Her vulva was also enlarged. She was a funny little thing, had a gorgeous temperament, but was very little for a greyhound and kind of stocky.
  5. Yeah, it looks a bit weird I twisted around at a weird angle to get the shot.
  6. Another Sid one today There will no doubt be plenty more... Day 071 - 12.03.11 Grateful for... A snoozy little puppy snuggling my leg.
  7. I should probably also clarify that that's my leg and I contorted myself around to take the photo It looks a bit weird, but it was super cute.
  8. Sid has a few high profile friends and today he met the Evil Beagle
  9. We had a brilliant first night Sid slept without any noise until around 4am when I heard him get up and whimper a little bit. So I took him outside and he went to the toilet and that was it until I got up at 6.30 (he was still snoozing). Yay I really think having Lola around has helped him (and us).
  10. Thank you :D Pssst - Lola earned your nickname today
  11. No he won't be shown. And no, no tails. Some have more than others.
  12. Day 070 - 11.03.11 Grateful for... Sid coming home. Our little French Bulldog puppy came home today and he is slotting in like he has always been here. He loves the boys and followed them around this afternoon.
  13. Yay - he's home! Congratulations!
  14. Yep, he loves the boys already
  15. French Fry has passed out in his crate on his back. And I have more pics
  16. I keep meaning to message you about that Ed may have Whooping Cough, so I am keeping us in quarantine this weekend. I would hate to unknowingly spread it around.
  17. Thanks guys So happy with our little French Fry. Lucky for me, I have a thing for the uglies ;) Sooooo... no You can't have him.
  18. Ah Nik - I should've thought of you! I knew there was someone that used their speedlite really well and often Tlc - yep http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...p;#entry5195606
  19. Yay for puppies! http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...p;#entry5195606
  20. We got to pick up lovely little Sid (Llachar Here Comes Sid) this morning. He is tops. I am in love. So are the kids. So is Lola. She initiated play with him straight away (which she never does) and they have been zoomying around together. It actually made me teary, because she's been pretty flat since Harry was PTS. It's almost like her face lit up and she has a new lease on life I've had to separate them so they have a rest. Every now and then he snuffles underneath her looking for a feed. Here are some pics, sorry they are a bit dodgy I'll take some better ones this afternoon.
  21. I am uber excited :p Can't wait to go and get the little guy And I actually slept super well lastnight, probably because I had a crap sleep the night before
  22. Yeah - I had the pop-up flash. Ahhh will look into a speedlight - thanks for that I HATE using the flash!!!!! and also taking indoor photos at night I have a borrowed Speedlight and still don't really like using it. But it's necessary at weddings etc. The idea is to bounce it off something (like a white ceiling or wall) to get a much less harsh affect. You can use it off the camera too, but then it all starts getting beyond my understanding I still only use it on the camera, but if you play around, you can get some funky effects. Sorry, that's really OT
  23. They're not bad for using the pop up flash (which I assume you've done?). You need a speedlight. Flash is my least favourite thing about photography
